- Stop motion (also known as stop frame) is an animation technique that physically manipulates an object that appears to move on its own. The object is moved in small increments between individually photographed frames, creating the illusion of movement when the series of frames is played as a continuous sequence. Dolls with movable joints or clay figures are often used in stop motion for their ease of repositioning. Stop motion animation using plasticine is called clay animation or "clay-mation". Not all stop motion requires figures or models; many stop motion films can involve using humans, household appliances and other things for comedic effect. Stop motion using objects is sometimes referred to as object animation.

Driftshotz your stop motions are LITERALLY the best. Earlier it seemed you simply had the best combo of SM and Live action but then the head started moving flawlessly. The literal ONLY problem I have with these is that there's only three transformers, but everything else is perfect

You must use a lot of FPS on your video! Well done. Very smooth. I added motion blur to my Transformers: Vector Sigma stop motion series to get a smooth motion. When you did your camera motions are you using any special motion rig, or just moving the camera on a tripod?
Graf-X Motion Thanks for watching, I moved the camera on my tripod by moving it carefully so it will looks more smooth.
Nice!! It was smooth. I only did a couple of pan shots in mine as it gets tricky to animate the camera and the toys at the same time!
Graf-X Motion I guess you just need to practice more so you can get better at it.
I think my video turned out pretty good in the end. You are welcome to check it out. I'm looking at building a motion control rig. I agree though, every stop motion animator can get better with more practice, no matter what level they are at!
