  • The RAF is ramping up its biggest exercise of the year, with a number of Britain's international allies taking part in Exercise Cobra Warrior in Lincolnshire.
    This year's iteration sees more than 50 aircraft take to the sky and incorporates 14 missions with nations from across the globe - including the Royal Canadian Air Force, which is taking part for the first time.
    The goal of Exercise Cobra Warrior is to train participants in high-intensity, large force and tactical air warfighting operations.

    Idk why people give the hornet hate. It's a lot better than most of the Russian aircraft

      Only people who have no idea what the Hornet is capable of give it a bad name. It is still an absolute lethal fighter plane to this day 👌🏻✌🏻

    I imagine our allies enjoyed seeing our fleet of vintage aircraft. We don't even have a supply ship for our Pacific Fleet ( it caught fire and was retired a new one is on order) Our subs are vintage retired British subs. When our army went to Afghanistan they showed up in green camouflage uniforms in a desert country. Seems humiliation is the name of the game. But we built a hundred brand new armoured vehicles for the Ukraine. Enjoy the new stuff Ukraine. We don't.

    • @chrisburke624
      @chrisburke624 11 месяцев назад

      @SCscoutguy We did, and you got the name correct. It's actually served incredibly well so far, and the quarters are definitely spoiling sailors as the living quarters on the new ships won't be anywhere near as luxurious 😅
      (Most crew get their own room, or share with 1 other. Hi-speed wifi, and furnishings one doesn't usually find on a military ship!)

    • @chrisburke624
      @chrisburke624 11 месяцев назад +2

      Oh boy...where do I begin?
      - We've provided Ukraine with 200+ Senator armoured vehicles (I think with another 100 on order)
      - We provided them with 39 ACSV vehicles & 8 Leopard 2 MBT's, as well as 4 M777's (ACSV based on LAV 6 hull, those vehicles had been intended for Canadian units but were diverted. Think big armored recovery vehicles)
      - 100 84mm Carl G recoiless rifles (M3 version) + 20,000 rounds
      - Assortment of various small arms & grenade launchers, at about 20,000 items
      - We also provided them with a NASAMS
      Ukraine is getting a mix of some of our kit that we had planned to eventually replace anyway, and fancy new kit we wish we had!
      But they ARE fighting a war right now, right in their own backyard, against a superior enemy. They need all the help they can get.

    • @alpearson9158
      @alpearson9158 9 месяцев назад

      hmm you do realize a certain US unit also showed up in Afghanistan in dark green as well and other western nations as well but that doesn't suit a political narrative does it. cf-188s are old but effective (sorry ) The supply ships are being built on the west coast but something at the yard is slowing them up. Oh and the Ukranians got new vehicles but so are we, they needed them now.
