It absolutely DOES sound like he's saying you get a real guitar and amp for this price, by buying the Aeroguitar, and still have money for lessons. If that's not what was meant, his comment is extremely misleading. The second interpretation is much more accurate. Use the money to get an ACTUAL guitar and amp, and you have money left over for lessons, as compared to wasting your money on an Aeroband guitar.

For the price you can either get an Aeroguitar or you can get a good actual guitar, amp or guitar interface, lessons for a month, and still have enough money left to watch your favorite band live!
I used to have one of these as a kid. It was around 20 bucks at Walmart. It’s awesome to see that they make them for adults now 😅

So many RUclips channels have openly given negative reviews… Hmmm… I wonder why? I’ll take a hard pass on this product. I trust the channels here on RUclips which I subscribe, to give “fair” and “honest” opinions about products with a vested interest in their viewers. I also watched the video with the folks sitting around the Christmas tree on the startup video. You know the one with a bunch of people singing, “When the Saints Come Marching In”? I never laughed so hard in my life! Priceless dumpster fire. Best of luck with this product. 🎉😅

The pain of learning is NOT a problem that needs to be solved. Learning isn't easy! It takes dedication and determination. Put in the time and you'll develop calluses like very other player on the planet! It does seem to me that companies are trying to solve people's impatience and intolerance rather than developing something useful for musicians.
CANT WAIT for these to drop through through floor in price, then it's ripe for abuse to be modded or used for midi. This is a PRIME EXAMPLE of people who made a product with ZERO feedback from the core audience for it.

This is nothing but an updated version of the Casio DG series of midi 'guitars' from the 1980s, soft nylon strings, gimmicky sounds and all.

Why would you train your left and right hand seperately? Genuinely. Playing the guitar is basically about coordinating both of your hands. You wouldn’t train your legs one at the time if you’d wanted to run a race, would you. This is pointless. You’d be better off buying a used acoustic for few bucks.
You have to get used to pressing down on strings with you’re fretting hand anyway? You’ll learn guitar on this then when you actually play a real guitar you’ll struggle to because you’re not used to pressing down on real strings from the beginning???

Terrible Idea! It is absolutely not a guitar!!! Kawasaki did this same nonsense back in the late 80’s. This won’t teach you anything of value and gaining calluses are A. Necessary and B. a right of passage that you can be proud to have gained. The backing tracks are awful and sound like the first Nintendo. Obviously the inventor of this TOY should have asked some real guitarists what they thought first and saved themselves tons of time wasted and money flushed. I try to be a glass half full person but this product needs to be recycled properly in the right trash can. 500 bucks will get you a real electric guitar and a small amp plus cash left over for some lessons. I am self taught on an acoustic guitar with probably the worst action ever and I got more out of that then anyone will ever gain with this pile of crap. Sorry not Sorry.

Haha, yes! I watched a review and it seemed like there's a function that can take the whole tuning up or down 3 steps, maybe more, I don't know but no drop-tuning.
It was pointed out constantly that this is not a guitar and that it would be fine as a toy but as a learning tool it's horrible, not to mention the way too high price.
At the end he even called their style of advertising "criminal" ; )

Can I just say that this sounds and is not that dissimilar from the “MI Guitar” by a company called Magic Instruments that was claiming all the same things and was trying to fund it through indigogo back in 2016.
The guitar did everything the AEROBAND does, even down to the fret board being detachable. The only difference was they claimed that instead of strings, the chords could be played by pressing a button. But other than that it looks very similar.
Anyway, as soon as they got the money which was $412,286 and a further $377,966 on a second campaign, they completely disappeared with everyone’s cash, closed down their website and vanished without the product ever being sent out.
So I would be very careful backing this on any sort of crowd funding.

@@nushawjcreator7882 because I like to bend strings. I also pick all the time so my fingers never hurt. You also can’t get that same tone with one of those like how you get with wood. Another thing is you can’t change strings which has its benefits but that means you can’t change them to get a different tone. There’s also not much talent with one of those if it can play itself.

It's well documented that this company is dishonest and is trying to get people to promote their product rather than review it honestly. Honest reviewers were threatened with legal action if the company did not like their "review". I wouldn't go anywhere near this glorified child's toy.
