This add on did the trick and finally I got my certificate back. Now I have set this up how do I go about setting up a website on the nas? does having the reverse proxy alter the hosting setup? I just can't seem to get a secure connection to the website.

Can you do a tutorial how to setup a reverse proxy for Jellyfin service to work outside the local network?

Thanks for the video suggestion. I'll definitely look into setting up Jellyfin through a reverse proxy to be accessible externally.

@@digital_aloha Hi, did you ever get to making that Jellyfin video, I can't seem to find it? Would also love to get a guide for that. Thank you!

updating my dsm has broken all its web services I had setup with reverse proxy. For now i can only get 1 working and thats audio station. What's unique about audio station? Anyways glad i found you video, will try this method later. I need to get my vaultwarden container up asap.

Sucks that your web services broke when you upgraded to DSM 7.2. I've done a few upgrades myself and never ran into issues so I can offer any advice to you. Hopefully the setup I covered in this video is helpful. Good luck!!

Hola Digital Aloha, good video. I have a question, I implemented a backend on my Synology server for communication between an API and a private application. The backend process was working correctly using the HTTP protocol but now in the production environment the API needs the response to be handled in the HTTPS protocol, for some reason I cannot perform the operation. Do you have any idea what may be happening? DSM version is 7.2

Thanks for the compliment on the video!! Off the top of my head I'm not sure what the problem could be, but the one thing I would confirm is that HTTPS (port 443) access is opened up to your NAS. If you'd like further help from me in trying to troubleshoot this problem feel free to schedule a consulting session off of my website digitalaloha.com. In any case, best of luck in resolving this issue!!

    Ah, thank you so much!
However, when I got this to work, my selfhosted vaultwarden server in Container manager stopped working. When I tried to reinstall it, I saw this option: "Set up web portal via Web Station. Enable this option to provide HTTP/HTTPS services to the container via Web Station. Only exposed ports can be used for Web Station". Im using Windows, are rather new to this and don't know how to use SSH. Do I need to set up Vaultwarden to run through Web Station, or can I do it separately?

Can you give me a tip on how I can deal with two devices that are connected to a router because they both need ports 443, 80 but I can only release one time in the router👍🙏
