This one of the best recipes I have ever tried. Magnificent flavor. The chocolate beer is perfection. Folks, you will not be disappointed with this Chili. Many thanks for sharing. You definitely got a gift. Thank you for sharing. Best to you.
Great to hear! Thank you
super legit recipe! I appreciate all the fresh ingredients. I roast my own garlic (olive oil and quality butter). That's the only change I'd make.
Nice!
I don't doubt it's got flavor. But I'm ashamed that you call that Texas Style Chili.
Come out with a video and show how it’s done….😂
Just made this way too much brown sugar, way too sweet. 1 tablespoon maybe. I didn’t even add the chocolate beer that would’ve been insane. If you like really sweet chili then have at it
I usually can find at least one ingredient that people miss with their chili recipe that would make it better, but not yours! You hit EVERYTHING! You pulled out ALL of the stops with this one. VERY nicely done! I'd LOVE to try a bite of this. Looks absolutely AMAZING!
Thank you so much
It looks good but that ain't Texas
That is brilliant. Do you have a restaurant? If not, why not? You'd clean up.
I drooled when u added the chocolate beer. Bravo! I'm taking notes
Thank you
about what temp shoal I have the stove on for this. medium high or low?
Medium to get everything going, then let it go low and slow
Man, I'm ordering Hersey's Yuengling just for this
I just wanna let you know this is my absolute favorite chili and have probably cooked it a dozen times now. My family loves it too. Thanks man, keep up the great work 👍
I like your style big man keep it up.👍
Ayoo! Big shout-out to you homie! I just smacked them in the mouth with your recipe. Won 1st job chili cook-off.✌🏿
i just won this years neighborhood competition. added some boneless short ribs to it and took it over the top!
This is the best chili recipe I've seen on RUclips yet.
I'm making this right now and I ran into an issue when I had to put the chicken stock in, how big of a container of chicken stock did you use? I put in a 32 Oz container and it seems like it might have been too much.
did u enter this in any competitions
Just my neighborhood competition and won, I'm not a professional just love to cook and share
Texas chili has no beans. Maybe Minnesota or California chili, but not Texas chili. Ever.
I just won a Chili Cook at Work with this recipe. I’ve only been working for this company 3 months. Thanks so much for sharing this.
Congratz! I bit that was a hit for your coworkers. They used to have chili comps at my old job once a year. It was always something to look forward to.
Also really advise to add a little bit of apple cider vinegar and some cocoa powder, it gives the dish one more extra layer of depth
I could not find the beer, so I subbed with apple cider ale, OH my so good!
What would be a decent substitute for the chocolate beer? I just don't have It at my grocery store. Thank tou sir.
Your favorite dark lager or stout will work just fine
I just finished cooking this recipe as best I could. I added frozen corn. This is so delicious. Mind you, I am NOT good in the kitchen. Nor did I have the chocolate beer (I substituted Lifted Kilt.) I cannot say thank you enough for sharing this recipe. DELICIOUS!!!! Best chili I have ever made. Saving this recipe. Planning to make it often. 7th Heaven. You R-O-CK!!!!! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!!!!
What kind of sazon?
Looks good. Thanks
Fixing 2 watch it again. Thanks my boy!!!
Very interesting.. using Mexican chilies 🌶️. Looks very good
Not bad...I was confused about adding in a 2nd batch of seasonings though. Seems like overkill.
Why would you use chicken stock and beef boullion and not use beef stock?
This is a common technique for national chili champs--adds depth of flavor to use both.
Looks great, I am going to try your recipe, the only question I have is do you put cumin in it ???
I do for myself..... but I know a few people who are allergic to Cumin
Looks FANTASTIC! I learned a lot too.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I want to make this chili’s! Quick question; how many pounds of meat did you use? 1 to 1 1/2 pounds of each? Thanks!
I keep seeing this hour rest in chili videos. Could you explain the reason
You ever made something that taste better the next day? It's like that. You give the flavors time to marry before you finish cooking it
Looks amazing...
From London
Made this 3 or 4 times now... look no further
the idea with the chocolate beer is great! I usually do it the argentinian way with a bottle of red wine but for sure I add some pieces of dark chocolate too.
How much meat and dried peppers? Amounts?
I used 1 1/2 pounds of each meat which looked like the amount he put in. I started out with 2 ounces (as shown on the packages) of each type of dried chili but found it made about twice as much as he’s shown putting in. Same with the listed veggies. It made about twice the amount as shown on camera. The only change I made was to double the amount of beans. The recipe won me first place in my local chili cook-off!
This is definitely winning the chili cook off at work!! Never thought to add half that stuff!! Great video, thanks for posting!
Bro this looks FIIIIRRREEE! I’m trying this tonight!
Going to try it, find chocolate beer?
Found that one at Wegmans
Try yueling plus cocoa powder
looking for some inspiration for my chili cook tomorrow. This recipe is on point. I'll be taking some pointers from this one.
How many pounds of meat did you use in your recipe?
That looks delicious!❤
on the peppers how many of each say for 3lbs meat…4 each
This looks immaculate.
bro this looks legitttt
Looks very very good 👍👍👍
This looks incredible. I need to try this one.
Excellent job!
Subs .
Great job 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾I am definitely using your recipe for my job chili Competition!!!
Awesome! Thank you!
No acidity? Add a bit of vinegar and watch it come to life
How much vinegar, what kind, and when do you add it?
@@mobus1603 just a couple of tablespoons. Not much. But a little acidity in the form of white vinegar will make a world of difference!
@@chrism3790When do you add it, and two tablespoons for how much chili? Four quarts? Eight quarts?
@@mobus1603 I'd do it to taste. Add one at a time, stir and taste. Don't let it get to the point where you can taste the vinegar- you just want a nice background acidity.
You add it close to the end, so that there will be little reduction and the taste doesn't concentrate further
That looks good. Well done. I’m going to try this.
u looked so cool when u posed and drank that beer
