I’ve been doing this professionally for 13 years. There was a point in my life where I said, "Forget it, Fuji is not going to be my second camera anymore." I used to get lost in the picture while shooting. Sure, full-frame cameras can offer this and that-everything all the RUclipsrs just copy from each other. But that Fuji, that damn thing, changed my entire perspective on how I shoot.
The Sigma has stepping motors, while this one has Linear Motors. Also the Fuji has a bigger range covered. Sigma does not have an aperture ring and it is not advertised as weather sealed. It is quite sharp and its half the price, so it all comes down to what you want for a lens.
I happy for John Branch to be featured on Fuji lens promotional video. Its been a long time coming.

All bodies have OIS so I don’t see any problem
