We stayed at Sandals a few tears ago when Gerard's nephew got married at Beaches. We did that walk from Sandals to Beaches a few times. Mike , his brother and all their local wares along with the 3 shipwrecks weren't there then. The walk was a little sketchy especially when we had to go through a little wooded area. A couple of guys appeared to be living in the woods. Didn't bother us, just asked if we had any food to share with them. They were very appreciative when we brought them a meal on our return trip. We did take a taxi when we traveled back & forth after dark though. Thanks for another fun vlog !
Hey Andrea, that's an interesting story. We did not put it in the video but we also brought them some food which they appreciated very much. I'm sure that the wedding must have been a great time. Thanks again for watching and hope you're having a good start to your summer!
Hey Edie! I was hoping you'd see this video! Mike and Dave were very excited when we mentioned your names! Great to meet you guys! Hope you're having a great summer. Thanks for watching! Hope to see you guys again someday!
Oh an awesome walk..7 miles (11.3km). My sort of walk. Going to love this. Oh how quaint- and safety measure. Signing out. Oh yes, I see those clouds- love it, Liquid Sunshine 🩷! Now that is really getting to know the local people. Love this better than a souvenir shop. Security is quite good then? Lunch looked awesome. 👌🇳🇱🙋♀🥝
The resort discourages going off the property, but we just had to explore that beautiful beach and we are glad we did! You would love it! Hope your week is going well. Maybe it will warm up for you guys soon. As always appreciate you watching! Cheers!
Hello! We definitely felt safe on the resort. Walkways were well lit and there was always staff and other guests around. It's not that big of a resort, so there really aren't any secluded empty areas when you walk around it, even when you walk down to the coffee shop. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching and thanks for asking a question. Cheers!
So true! Portion control to avoid waste! When I was a kid, I was glued to that series and always hoped they would be found! I think I even had a crush on Marianne LOL. Thanks for watching HW!
I went to Jamaica 30 years ago and I felt unsafe the whole time we were there! I would never go there again. The beaches are crappy compared to Punta Cana or Cancun! Glad you made it back safe!
Yes, that was me! I had suggested to WMBF that they do a story on the rate changes and they actually thought it may be useful and asked to interview me! Thanks for watching! Cheers! (ps a few years ago WMBF interviewed me about the Twisters Ice Cream closing....ruclips.net/video/K598DIvg2Ws/видео.html)
Well, on our walk down the beach there was a park right on the beach with nice water and sand for the locals! It was packed with local famlies (no tourists) having a great time. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for your video!
Did you feel safe on the resort? For example, would you go for coffee as a woman alone on the resort?

ทะเลสวยมากเที่ยวให้สนุก 👍👍👍
Hey thanks! Yes very beautiful! Thanks for watching. Have a great week!
Haha Gilligans Island. That show has been rerun on tv here most of my life. Those BBQ plates don’t look like the typical American portions. 🤣

I can see why, and we agree that the beaches in Punta Cana have a more tropical feel! Thanks for watching and for leaving a comment! Cheers!
there is no crime in Negril. its all in your head. its very safe. I was there 3 weeks ago, never felt unsafe for a moment.
Saw you on the news!

Not much beach left - overcrowded..gets worse every year
It was our first visit to this beach and it was nice but honestly not as nice as people say. Thanks for watching and for leaving input! Cheers!
@@TravelwithNJSteveandSue your at the wrong part of the beach. go up to the beach at the Tree House. so much nicer.
I was just there for 2 weeks. far from being overcrowded.
@@bryantartus Good to know, we only walked down the beach this time. Thanks for the suggestion! Cheers!
SAD THAT THE JAMAICAN PEOPLE DON'T HAVE THE SAME PRIVILEGE TO WALK ON THEIR OWN BEACHES 😢
