      @@Youthman But your system is the cat's meow. Hey friend is there a way you can do a review on the Anthem MRX 540. 740, 1140 & especially on the AVM 90, because no ones doing them, except for the AVM 70. I would like to get the AVM 90, but is it worth the price or should I go with the AVM 70. I trust your judgement, 1. because you are a christian, 2 you are very knowledgeable, and 3 i like you 😄. Michael, thanks for sending me this link from the Hisense 100l9g review, I do like the fact that the price for the bundle pack has come way down to $2999.99 at Walmart and $3489.78 at Amazon, kind of helps with my wallet. One thing I did notice on this one was the picture, not sure if the camera recording or the actual picture quality. I saw a lot of pinkish/ purple bleed in the images. Please let me know your thought. Thanks again for any and all comments.

    What about all the 2.4 2.35 ratio content on this screen? I guess with that size of a screen, bars on the screen shouldn't be so bad. Unless there's some kind of anamorphic lens shift in the next generation? I'm beginning to see my eventual budget home theater build itself with this and emotiva

    I bought a 75” LG TV in November 2020. It was nice but I was still not satisfied. I sold it in March and I bought this Hisense. Let me say it was the best decision I made. The picture is great with light on but when the lights are off it’s fantastic. Let me put it this way, I have subscription to Netflix, Prime and Apple TV and I hardly use it. I basically bought it for my kids, but now all I do is watch movies all night long (my wife is getting a little annoyed) Trust me this is the best dollar per value you will find when it comes to purchasing a UST. Do your homework before you purchase because there are times where you can get this package for an exceptional price.
    A couple of things to note, if you have small kids the laser might be a problem. Kids seem to be drawn to the light. Also, if they bump or move the Credenza or stand you have the projector on it’s a pain to re-calibrate the picture on the screen. Lastly, the Android system is good but a little sluggish. However, if you use a Fire-stick, Shield or a Apple TV this issue is non existent.

    I think you need to start a rating system for the equipment you are reviewing. You're getting big enough for that now, and I think a lot of us would appreciate that. Maybe it's a sensitive subject considering the free gear you get sent to review and you don't want to step on any toes, I don't know. I just like the idea of a rating system that helps put things into perspective

    • @Youthman
      @Youthman  3 года назад

      I have no problem “stepping on toes “because I always share my true and honest opinion. The hard part with the rating system is you have to have some type of baseline to write against. You can’t really write against each other because you review them at different time frames. I’m not sure how beneficial a rating system would be as even that is still very subjective. I could rate something a 4.5 while another reviewer might only give it a 3.8.

      Gotcha. Here is my first rating. If I were in the market for a UST projector, I would buy this HiSense. As we mentioned in the video. Great long video and review, thank you. However a question that if i missed i'm sorry, was there any direct performance on the black levels other than what you described? I didn't see any black level tests. I've been looking into swapping out my Epson 5040 living room setup with that has a long throw ambient rejecting screen with something like this but every review talks about the "grey" blacks even when calibrated. My Epson is LCD so it doesn't get inky blanks like a JVC but it still gets plenty black. These USTs are soo bright that every one of them struggle getting the blacks black enough due to the brightness. My living room setup is getting more and more just a nightly movie TV that daytime just doesn't matter as much.

      Stop moving your mouth. It’s distracting. 🤣 I couldn’t resist. 😂

      @@Youthman I know 😁. Got a request for you. Can you compare the Marantz SR7015 vs the Denon X4700h AVR? Looking to upgrade from my Onkyo TX-RZ920. Also do you think it’s worth upgrading from the Onkyo that I currently have.
