- In this episode, we're talking about what the Dutch teaches about productivity. Even though there's only 17 million of them, the Dutch are residents to one of the most productive countries in the world. They all seem to be having a secret that makes them so productive - What is it? This is what I'm exploring in this episode of Making it in Holland.

How will you be as productive as the Dutch?
My lunch style is definitely more Dutch than French (which is 2 hours longs and similar to Turkish lunches I think) 😄
I had no idea the French also took really long lunches but I’m actually not surprised. 😊
@@MakingitinHolland oh yeah, most shops close in France btw noon and 2pm. Basically there's nothing else to do than eat 😅
Honestly, I don’t mind having a long lunch break sometimes. It’s like a mini vacation but during the day. 😃
emm, Idk why but I feel like this video is better than your other ones. I can see the progression in your content! Keep it up! I'm new here.
Thank you so much! I’m happy to hear the upgrades are visible. Will definitely continue to bring good quality content to you!
I think these observations are all correct. My compliments!! And now let’s carry on😃
Thank you for your comment.
Reminds me of a vote in the Coursera community several years back: Which country has the worst food, UK or NL? And then the British voted for the British and the Dutch voted for the Dutch. Eventually UK was the winner, and the Dutch were like "fine... but if only we have more international people!!!"
After wondering for a while why the Dutch have been putting up the food that is so not food, I kinda figure out that it's not like they CAN'T tell the difference or they CAN'T cook well, but if time is what it takes to have a better taste, they just won't do it.
Love your observations!
Who needs anything culinary like the French and Italians do when you can just have kapsalons, broodjes frikandel and cold beers and call it a day.
Such a great video Gulce, pretty funny too! 😃
Thank you 😃 I really wanted to start to introduce sketches and humor. I think I will continue this. 😊
You deserve way more views 💖
Thank you so much 😊 🤗
You just explained why we don´t have a Dutch cuisine. When we claim to have a cuisine we point to the Indonesian rijsttafel or to a Surinam roti lamb.
Thank you for your comment! And yes - the cuisine is pretty much lacking but other types of cuisines are easy to find.
Smashed it! Such a great video! Keep it up😊
Thank you for watching! 😃
@@MakingitinHolland looking forward to the next one!
Thank you!
And clean people too.
We work to live. We don’t live to work. And we like ‘niksen’
Don’t take the car for short and medium distances. Walk or take the bicycle.
Right! :)
