It would be impossible for them to hold down another job during the season. Imagine running up and down a court for a few hours and then go work a shift somewhere. The only sport I'm aware of where the refs are basically doing the job for fun or as a side gig is the NFL because games are spaced out much more.

I like watching these highlights because they have maximized the way the game is supposed to be played. It’s like watching the movie Hoosiers. Pass the ball multiple times, find the open player, hustle everywhere, work the inside game when you can.

@@CedricCamp That is true, but I don't think the Mystics are as bad as their record says. 8 of the 11 losses are single-digit ones, they've been in a lot of games. They're just doing a wonderful job of "tanking for Paige", so they can't finish any of them off.

Fever should never go through scoring droughts. Cause imo every 3rd or 4th possession they should just run CC on off-ball screen action for a guaranteed shot for her or a teammate cause of all the attemtion she gets coming off screens. 30 points. Wow.
Some people still doubt she is generational. Nobody in the league is making those passes and those shots. She just needs a team so they cant double team her all game, and to work on her shot selection.

I like watching these highlights because they have maximized the way the game is supposed to be played. It’s like watching the movie Hoosiers. Pass the ball multiple times, find the open player, hustle everywhere, work the inside game when you can.

Seems like the league memo went down and teams are starting to play decent, good, professional basketball. They owe it to the fans who buy those tickets and drive all the way to the venue to watch Caitlin's beautiful game and enjoy the time with their kids. Kudos to both teams - they played well. The center for the Fever is fantastic inside, especially laying the ball so high off the glass. CC is just a tremendous talent. Seven 3's is just over the top. She reminds me of players on Native American teams. They run and gun like nobody's business. It's a beautiful form of basketball.
