@@sammymarrco47 - one named after Glen L. Martin who was the martin in Martin Marrietta; Glenn Martin is a big Maryland guy the Engineering School at Univ of MD is named for him. The airport use to be the original Friendship Airport... also - The China Clipper, PBM flying boats, B-26 bomber and Martin Mars were produced in these facilities. those planes were built there. It opened in 1929. Also A-10s fly out or use to fly out of Martins too. It is well worth the drive out.. also when there should stop in at Pizza Johns or Squires best Pizza in Eastern Baltimore County.
