With manga it's usually the later volumes of a series that are worth money... most people have the 1st books in a series and are looking to finish them.
I'm not sure that tracks. The people who are already reading would be actively buying the new books at release, preordering, etc. Later in the life of a series, production of earlier books would ramp down, because the market is already saturated with Vol. 1 sales. The same goes for any printed media. Nobody is out there, desperate to buy the newest issue of a Superman comic. It's the one(s) that isn't being printed anymore that people are after. Also, later in the life of a series, people are more actively sharing a favorite thing with other people, other people are hearing more about how good something ended up being, how it got better over time, etc., so then new readers are out there looking for the first volumes, but they aren't being printed anymore - because all of the people that already knew they wanted the product have already bought it back when it came out, or soon after it came out, when reviews started pouring in about the value of the series by review sites/magazines/shows, etc. Historically, the first print, first edition, and/or first issue/volume of *any* print media is going to fetch a higher price, for collection purposes, but also simply because they're not being printed anymore. Books, magazines, manga, comics, trading card games, etc. If they start printing the first volumes again? Then the value drops, because the scarcity ceases.
@ReclaimerTyphoon it seems to me like a new series comes out and people buy it and it gets word of mouth and more copies are sold than expected so they get 2nd or 3rd printings of early volumes, but people slowly fall off and move on to other series. Hardly anyone sticks through with the series to the end and with declining popularity fewer copies of later issues are printed and they dont have 2nd or 3rd printings of later volumes making them rarer.
@GrandMasterLynx no, collectible is basically the same as "used" there are condition levels like "collectible-good" and "collectible-like new". Amazon restricts "used" items on most toys, so the default condition is "Collectible"
I'm a future video can you show how you package things like the mini arcade to send in to Amazon? Assuming you're selling fba, so just curious what you send in to the fulfillment centers.
naruto and haikyuu are very good, fairy tail raises opinions more, naruto is 72 volume series and with manga the stories are continuos so thatd be a huge commitment, haikyuu is much smaller series
Yo whats up bro! Just wanted to let you know to be careful looking at the price of what manga is selling for because there's a lot of manga that are different series of the same franchise that use somewhat the same name. Like you looked up naruto 1-20 and saw a listing for 96 dollars but that wasn't the naruto books you saw in the store, those were the boruto: naruto next generation books which are a different set all together. There's the original naruto series (that you saw in the store) and then there's the boruto: naruto next generations series (which is what you saw on ebay). Plus, there are a couple of one volume books of naruto like naruto the seventh hokage and the scarlet spring.
Does anyone have success flipping used board games when they have the entire lining of tape around them? I'm always weary of that, but would love to hear from others!
@ they were all still $3 each, I tried asking if they could do better if I bought them all but they said no. I’m interested in the 3 manga you picked up if your interested in selling?
@@chantellehartgen8855 I agree with that other guy. I don't watch resellers, but RUclips recommended this to me out of nowhere, and it wasn't immediately apparent that it was a reseller behind the camera. It's so sad that people waste their time reselling like this - if they just got a job, they'd make way more per hour. Just strolling into a store and hoping for a gem is a gigantic waste of time, and entirely luck based. If you're looking for a good deal for something you can't otherwise afford for yourself, then thrift stores are the place to go. If you want to make money, doing something productive is the best way to make money. I guess making videos about doing this thing is potentially making them money, but it's equally ridiculous that people subscribe to this nonsense, maybe hoping they'll learn the "tricks of the trade", or get rich quick if they hop into a thrift store. I guess "to each their own", but this isn't entertaining, it's just sad.
Instead of passing on the lower value games, why don’t you post those on eBay that way you can get money for it still. Amazon‘s percentage that they take out is so high. You might get a better opportunity to sell some of those low value games on eBayand still make a good profit.
Nobody is buying those hats. The patch (likely more valuable in its unused state) is $20 on Ebay. If nobody is buying that hat, then it's not worth whatever that listing is asking. Nobody is buying those label makers. When people were buying them, they were going for, like, $10. Not worth the effort. This is ridiculous. I'd make a channel and get 100K subs lying about massive profits (at the cost of just getting a job and making way more per hour than this), but I wouldn't feel good about it. I hope this channel is making you plenty of money to make up for all the profit you're not actually making reselling this stuff.
Came here to say the same about the patch. It was a patch that was sold, and people just happened to put them on hats. The hat is not a Nintendo product, but the patch is. The patch sells for about $8 to $16 out of package, and about $20-$25 new in package.
Clearly he didn't know what the patch was and just typed in Donkey Kong hat and the year, so I don't know if you can call that lying. He was clearly mistaken, but that's not even close to a lie.
What's your channel name? How many people subscribe to you? What works for one person may not work for another, but you can get some knowledge of what to do, how to source, etc. No reason to be so negative with your words and aggressive in your delivery. You have 363 more days to be mean, it's only the 2nd. And, why watch the video and type a dissertation, if you think the dude is so horrible? When I go to GW and others, the toy department is super packed. Like you, I wonder why?
@Chicago48 consider yourself blessed. Not all thrift stores are loaded with toys, but I love when they are.
My man is def hitting over 100k this year. Great video per usual.
Edit: Oh, you're talking subscribers, not money.
Still sad.
lol definitely not talking about money because he never actually shows what he sells it for

@ Strange but thanks for the info never knew that
how do you peel the tape off of the board games without ripping the art?
Very slowly lol. Also I use a heat gun sometimes and Goo Gone to get rid of residue

I have the space invaders one
Could you make a video explaining the rate system on the app?
Do your own research it’s simple
lol he doesn’t actually sell anything

Im on the ebay search sold for naruto lol
Hey I bought all those Naruto manga 😂, I need that number 1 Naruto

😮
:)
