I fought for years to get my wife interested in Broodwar, at least to watch it. Because she enjoys chess and I'm telling her it's the same but faster. But she can't really get into the original graphics even with Tastosis' English and newbie-friendly casting. This series actually is the only time she watched with interest. Please 100% continue this (at least from time to time)
The visual clarity of the cartoon graphics is actually so insane. As someone who didn't grow up playing the game and have only played Sc2 it's actually easier to understand whats happening moment to moment with the cartoon graphics. The map itself is also a bit easier to actually understand on the cartoon graphics imo. Really cool!
Soma holding against the bunker rush, Scan surviving against the first muta wave, all in a game 3 of a tight series. What a match, great games, great cast, and great use of Carbot graphics.
Hey RT, love your work. I was wondering : have you ever thought of making a long outro screen to your video. So that they would all be 45 minutes long. Because knowing the duration of the video is spoiling the game. You know for sure if a player is gonna recover from a bad situation or not. I'll happy to ear what you think. Thanks again, keep up the good work. Sorry for my poor englsih. Patrick
I sort of agree tho unsure on how the execution should be implemented. When i see a 5-10 minute game i instantly think "well something is gonna fail a rush/get cheesed"
Guys seriously are you still living in year 2000 or something? Just get addon for a browser to hide progress bar and lenght of the video. It is so easy and you enjoy every cast video without any spoiler.
I think it would be great if you casted Cartooned games occasionally, like once a week or once a month or something. I wouldn't want the mod for every cast, but it is very cute.
0:33 - this is actually looks like 1:1 similar to "Kartoshka cake", which is very popular Russian dessert made of biscuits (cookies) and cocoa. It looks funny like a piece of sausage, but tastes mildly sweet. Very cool thing, love them all the time, definitely suggest you all to try it, while coming to Russia! Here are one of the descriptions of this cake I found in the web (I can't send you a link, because youtube might delete the commentary because of that, but you can try google on your own, and see what this little cake actually look like, and tastes like ;D) : "Scrumptious chocolatey Russian kartoshka cakes made with cocoa powder and condensed sweetened milk will not stay long on the plate! Very easy to assemble, your only challenge when making these non-baking treats will be restraining yourself from eating them on your own during the process. Happy guests would be a reward for these efforts. “Kartoshka” means “potatoes” in Russian and these cakes indeed look like the unpeeled vegetables. However the sweet chocolaty taste has nothing in common with the real “kartoshka”.The original recipe calls for a sponge cake as the base for these treats, but you can also use shortbread cookies. You will also need some butter, cocoa powder and sweetened condensed milk."
One thing Arty is, could you try and set it up where you do '2 Separate Rounds of Games' perhaps a 'T vs Zed (A)' alongside a 'P vs P (B)' in the Cartoon, that way you basically are saying: -*It's a week of Cartoon Casts... and you've given a variety of games and you can switch the casts up to be A-B-A-B-A-B.
i like the carbot skins, but the different animations and textures trip me up when watching units interact with walls(units who i know dont fit look like they can) or going up ramps
Why do you want feedback if we enjoy the cartoon casts, then immediately say this will be the last one you ever do? I very much enjoy it so I hope you do more..
I feel that the carbot skins makes it more difficult to judge the distance between units, so knowing when somethings is within firing range or not is tricky, which in turn makes it more difficult to appreciate the micro of the players. I don't know, maybe it is just me. If it appeals to people, that's great. But casting consequential games, like tournaments or high quality match ups, would feel a bit wasted, imho.
2 reasons why a zerg's drone count may be lower 1. Zerg has to spend drones to make buildings which is a little bit of a drain on their count over time. 2. Zerg can't freely make workers out of their townhall like P or Z, they have to choose how to spend their larva at any time.
Cant stand these graphics. Everythings way to homogeneous. Looks like a beta thats been stuck in limbo the last five years. No idea why people say this is easier to decern units, they're brazenly lying. Its just color splotches/blobs with 0 defining characteristics between units, other than how much "red or brown" is visible. To each their own, but i could never see carbot graphics and be content with this channel. My two cents.

Your with the wrong woman. Definately not a chad protoss player.
Years?? Jeez, get a new women. Way too many out there to "settle"
Just kidding.....kinda
She knows better I think. Chess is very clear to understand than broodwar. Broodwar is crazy af. Maybe try to teach your kids instead.
@@tyrellwreleck4226 „Soon I will have a new apprentice, One far younger and more powerful !“
Really liking the cartooned casts. Would be really cool to see some more sprinkled in alongside the regular casts.
After watching the series I like the idea of mixing a few of these in with your regular casts, maybe like 5-10 percent of the games
Agreed!
These cartoon casts are amazing!
Always love your casts, the carbot skin is nice to mix in for sure!
I’m gonna miss the Carbot for sure

I love the carbot animations, keep them coming!!
the carbot skin is good in moderation. maybe like 20% of games could use the skin
God no please
Soma’s games are so quick
Love love love the carbot version. Very crisp and fresh. Please mix more of this in when you can!
To be honest, Cartoon style is much clearer for me…
I enjoy the cartoon skins!

I like the fact that he said, "we lost a vulture" :D
I really like the style! It's a fun thing to mix in sometimes
Man, I just wish we could get games with this skin where we see more of the tech tree for each race.
I love watching SC in cartoon sometimes, but it does get tiring when it's the only type of starcraft you watch
I like carbot, could leave it on forever if it was up to me but it's not for everyone I guess. I do love it though.
I love the pro gamer cartooned series!
I wana see this from time to time. I at least wana see this with protoss in it for one game
The block to prevent the transfer into the 2nd bunker was a sight to behold.
I LOVE this, Arty
wow the carbot is vibrant
cartoon cast is the way to go bro

I agree, at least 5 minutes extra would be good, maybe with some links to other good games cycling through and some music playing
@@oliverwarren1074 a random number of minutes would be better. Otherwise we just have to do simple maths.

Sick series, liked the graphics!
Scan was like: "Understandable, have a gg".
I love carbot! Would love to see a big macro game in carbot!
Cartoon style is good, but it is good portionally, and these three games are wonderful in cartoon skins!
"Against lurkers you can't just have this tiny group of marines and these vessels" arty says while most of his T losses to Z are due to exactly this
Never been this early to a artosis upload, also more carbot plz!
Know how i know ur gay?
Love it. Maybe sponsor a showmatch where the players have to use it as well :D

I'm totally down to throw some of these carbots in the mix, super interesting to see the different models
The main thing I like about the cartoon graphics is that it's easier to see all the movement.

I bought Brood war just because of Carbot skin 🥰love it!
please more!

Plz do more carbot casts. Like a lot more. They're awesome. Downvote the nay sayer comments 🤣🤣
I think the real question is... will his daughter rewatch this cast?
Surprised how good this series has been. I don't mind carbot it does make it harder to know what's going on
what do the players think of the cartoons?
IENJOIYNG WATCHES SCATREFT IN CARTTON
Carbot lings OP!
Excellent cast!
I'd rather original broodwar skin tho

My guy goes 1 base wraith like he’s flash’s father or something 🤡 🤡 🤡
Why zerg players always have so low amount of drones in comparison with terran and protoss?
2 reasons why a zerg's drone count may be lower

2. Zerg can't freely make workers out of their townhall like P or Z, they have to choose how to spend their larva at any time.
more carbot skins please. and longer games
Dude wtf
ZvZ should always be carbot.. thats about it.
Not a fan of the games in carbot too hard to follow for me. But love the games nonetheless!
I don't know if I'm enjoying the cartoon thing
Wanna know how i know arty is gay? Cuz hes cast in this nonsense which i will never watch lol
NO.
The cartoon variant is awful to watch. Just can't feel the game in the same way. Please don't do it again
I do not like Starcraft cartoon.
I can't enjoy this.
ahh I hate the cartoon version, much better on the original
Seriously why r u doing this to us? Are we in kinder-garden and amused by crap like this?
no more Skins!!
Back to original videos please! This cartoon stuff sucks!
hes mixing a few in, its not permanent

Agreed, is way worse to distinguish things, terrans units are the worst
Sorry, but I hate this style. Not for me
