i also suffer with cerebral palsy and watching tracey beaker and Cara (Layla) when i was younger showed me how to have the confidence and realise we can do whatever we want and nothing stops us
"Once a Beaker kid, always a Beaker kid!" - What a quote, what a 💯 fact! Love Cara, then & now. What a trailblazer, I have a disability (a neurological/congenital condition, not cp but hydrocephalus), to see her on tv was great and inspiring to me - as many have already. Thank you Cara! ❤ That episode where Layla does everyone's homework was a favourite of mine as a kid. Inclusion for people with disabilities is, unfortunately, a slow burner in many work sectors. The fact that Cara has had 1 audition this year is so sad to hear, and puts this in perspective and proves it. Her determination though shows how strong she is and how much passion she has for the acting world. Also is a great example of how strong we are as a community. ❤😊 Thank you for this episode Chels & Dani. Casualty, The Dumping Ground take her on! C'mon!
as someone with special needs having someone like layla proved we could do anything i know work with special kids its amzing another reason this show speaks to me
Cara, you are a true inspiration. Two of my children are severely disabled. My youngest has Down's Syndrome, and absolutely loves watching his Tracy Beaker dvds. 💕
I loveeeeed this so much! (As well as all your videos) Seeing Cara play Layla growing up, was such a lovely and heart warming feeling. It was my first introduction to someone with Cerebral palsy, as I had never met anyone with the disability and especially never seen anyone on TV with that disability before. It really opened your eyes as a kid to people who are different to you, which, looking back, was sooo ahead of its time and such a beautiful thing that they did for a kids show. I really hope Cara is able to get more roles. She's a great actress and really deserves the world. I would LOVE to see Layla come back in someway in the future. I think as Cara said, Layla would have a high earning job seeing as she did peoples homework for them, was smart etc. I'm looking forward to seeing what's next 💖
Another fantastic video! Cars is amazing. I loved Layla and her friendship with Hayley. I really liked the episode when they did home schooling (Crash, Jackie, Tracy, Michael and Layla.) Layla's scout badge episode was great too.
I have loved watching this episode I have a disability too and Cara was the first person I seen on TV when j was younger and it really helped me alot in all aspects of going through hurdles in school etc you all are so inspirational to me you Chelsie , Dani and Cara , no words could describe how much you all help when I was younger and even now I watch these vlogs and still all the Tracy beaker shows I'm.obsessed with them its my love and one of the only things that helps me on bad days ! Sending you all lots of love ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love how Beaker and subsequent spin offs have continued to represent disability in the shows & diversity across CBBC productions. As an ‘able’ child, but with a chronic disability as an adult, I do agree it is still generally really under represented on tv & theatre though. Keep shouting & fighting Cara & hope more auditions/parts are forthcoming soon. Great episode ladies!
Fantastic work guys, I am the proudest father ever CJ, I remember the support you had from the cast and the whole team. It was so lovely when we used to go on holidays and you were surrounded by fans, even when you were so tired, you always gave 100% to them, you are a very special young woman, Dani and Chelsea, you are such lovely people without you it would have been such a different story I think xxx
Layla is one of my top 5 favourite charceters because I like the friendship between her and Hayley and the episode when she has to do her club badges but she cheats and then she bakes a cake or something then it’s sabotaged then they figure it out from Hayley and she passses
You've got to talk about or react to Louise's best episode, the one where she impersonates amber but comes out American. "Spud me daddy-o" and calling Jenny sweet cheeks. Iconic.
Saddest Jackie episode probaly when her grandfather died also when Jackie finally realises she has to leave grandpa and hugs him for the last time I always shed a tear
Near the start of the video, I just want to address- yes, Dani, this is why I will NEVER let my kids use straighteners or curlers! And I'm speaking as a young man, who wanted wavy hair for years, and finally achieved his dream when he hit 14, and thankfully have managed to keep it since!
I know they kind of did it with My Mum Tracy Beaker and The Beaker girls but can we not have like a BBC Three Version of Tracy Beaker where you all meet up for a Dumping Ground past care kids reunion. a bit like they did for Millie Inbetween when they created Flatmates ?
I think one of the best scene is when Tracy was talking to Elaine the pain in the garden when Elaine is blowing up balloons and Tracy realizes Eliane she’s going to blow up the balloon to much and exploded the balloon and she jumps and Tracy starts laughing it’s the funniest scene ever please do a reaction to that scene
Imagine they brought us a Tracy beaker 2 but the og version probaly won’t be all the same actors because I think the actor of Rio is really famous and Mike said one time he will never come back
I don't think I show someone like her before, I feel am seeing it lot more on bbc ,call the midwife and doctors and other programs it baby begins but long way to go
@@xbbyvainx That's very true. I remember reading a comment on another Tracy Beaker video where someone asked Elly Brewer (head writer of Series 1 of The Story of Tracy Beaker, all of Tracy Beaker Returns, and Series 1 and 2 of The Dumping Ground) about Elektra being a lesbian and Elly confirmed that Elektra was heavily hinted to be a lesbian but CBBC had stricter guidelines at the time of what could air so they kept it subtle (like with her having a pride flag on her bedroom wall). It's nice to see that nowadays, they can show LGBTQ+ characters and relationships more openly!
i also suffer with cerebral palsy and watching tracey beaker and Cara (Layla) when i was younger showed me how to have the confidence and realise we can do whatever we want and nothing stops us
brill its why this show still speaks to us im prat of specil needs group at mo called freedom finnly found where i belong hope i dont sound officsve

Near the start of the video, I just want to address- yes, Dani, this is why I will NEVER let my kids use straighteners or curlers! And I'm speaking as a young man, who wanted wavy hair for years, and finally achieved his dream when he hit 14, and thankfully have managed to keep it since!

Oh my God I clicked so fast! ❤
Chelsie can we next have James Cartwright who plays Nathan please or Sharlene whyte who plays Jenny Edwards please
When are you gonna do a another episode reaction
the only thing missing from tracy was gay or lbgt charcter at lest we had cam so that was amzing
and electra (although it was in tracy beaker returns/the dumping ground)
Thankfully, The Dumping Ground has May-Li (who is happily married to a woman) and Bec (who had a storyline where she gets a crush on a girl)!
It wouldn't have been aired when Tracy Beaker was shown, they wouldnt of put a gay character on a kids show. It would of been too controversial
@@xbbyvainx That's very true. Does anyone know what Cara is d,owing these days. I would love to find out
When are you gonna do another reaction
