Teams officially participating in other regions is lame as hell. The skill difference is clear here but they’ll still get wiped in EU.
I agree but on the other hand, it gives APAC a better chance at being represented, even if there aren't any actual APAC players on the team, I think? Since Elevate would be getting destroyed at RLCS even worse than Gladiators will, so.. I don't know how to feel about it. It's a scummy thing to do but at the same time, they don't have any teams that can compete at the current level of RLCS.
@@hhaste yeah you definitely have a point there. But this team still loses to any other team at the RLCS level. I think it’s cool to see under-represented regions play on LAN but I think EU clears anyways 😂
I think the important thing is that they’re being represented tho. Like it’s weird to say “rlcs world champions” without at least attempting to include the world. Idk. I understand that it’s kinda weird for regions to not be represented by people from their region, but I also understand that when you bring higher levels of comp to lower levels, the lower levels improve in order to keep up cus at the end of the day, competition is fun 🤷🏿♂️🤷♂️
@@thexrws7110 we have to wait to see if EU clears. I’m NA East and I’ve been queuing EU since I started playing (6k hours) and I think I’m seeing more and more NA people queue EU so idk bruh. It might be closer than you think

It’s sad to see what happened to APAC and SAA. Especially when there are teams with potential like Elevate and Limitless. It was fun to watch these teams (Especially Elevate vs Rule 1 Game 3) in Major 1 even when they got swept. Now I just hope Mobula and Gladiators get destroyed. Teams should have at least 1 or 2 players from their own region.

Agreed. Definitely 2 people from the region per team, minimum. Gladiators and M0-3bula _will_ get destroyed though, so it will feel good watching them lose. On the other hand, it gives APAC a better chance at being represented, even if there aren't any actual APAC players on the team, I think? @@hhastei think having the non apac teams in apac are good for competition and will lead to improvement of the region. it sucks that right now they are losing but hopefully we will see some actual apac teams at worlds in the future
