I'm heavily advocating for a major next gen patch with cross play, server browsers, and a steam release. Probably not happening, but it's an easy way for The Coalition to leverage hype for E-Day.

@adachiandmarie6024 if it's optional (like it almost always is), why not? It means virtually you'll always be able to find a match and at worst you can turn it off so you don't have to deal with cheaters

E-day should definitely have gears UE size characters. With gears 3 movement, shotty, and lancer but I'd say that UE sniper is pretty legit. So UE sniper.
I at least want them to make a tweet or something acknowledging that there is a problem. We're all waiting and we're totally in the dark about it. I didn't expect a fix over the weekend but to not even get an update is crazy since they just released a prequel trailer.

UE is such a good remake to me personally. it stays true to GOW1’s mechanics, play style, the limits it had, while upgrading a lot of things & having amazing graphics, cool skins and added more beloved characters. it just deserves way better in terms of servers. I hope they rerelease it on steam too and give it a enhancement update especially cuz a lot of ppl are revisiting gears cuz of E Day

Reddit is losing their minds trying to figure out why it happened. My guess is that the servers got overloaded by all the reemerging players and TC is too lazy to at least publicly acknowledge it.

How long do you think 360 multiplayer will stay up? Nintendo pulled the plug on 3ds and Wii U online a year after shutting down the eShop.

the player base always picks the worst game mode to keep populated. Thank god guardian is populated on gears 2. TDM sucks, always has, shouldn’t be on the game.
@@jag3rb0mb TDM should not be in any gears game. Guardian is a great game mode on gears 2. I would play gears 3 but fk that I hate tdm

Bro I was wondering why I couldn’t get in the other day. I don’t like dealing with host in gow1 so I went to ue and the game just wouldn’t let me in I thought it was a problem with my account

@@wattsnottaken1I think gears 3 had dedicated servers during the games lifecycle but once it died they rolled back to player hosting, or am I wrong? I remember 3 playing like a dream so I tried hopping into multiplayer earlier today and the game was running so bad you’d think my series X was an old school potato pc

@@dontcare4752 I mean hey if they don’t want to deal with the upkeep but still give us the opportunity to play the game online, that’s cool, but sometimes you have to ask yourself at what cost lol. We need a definitive collection of the gears trilogy just graphically updated with core cut content and dlc installed to the base product. It’d be weird releasing a collection of games where the player base will divide itself between whichever games multiplayer they want to enjoy but the gears trilogy deserves better preservation than this
