very helpful vid, thank you so much!! loool stupid question but will having a great knowledge on art history and your inspirations help you in the interview? seeing it's like a conversation I'm sure being able to relate to the interviewee will help connect and yeah, thanks again :)
Would you be able to make a video or give some advice regarding the foundation course at the Royal Drawing School? I'm planning on applying there next year but there's really not much information about what they're looking for in a portfolio/personal statement - are they looking for students with a more classical grounding in the arts, realistic drawings and paintings, etc, or more conceptual works? There's very little information on applying for the course and what it's like aside from that on their website. Also, could you talk about what to include in a fine arts personal statement, and perhaps some tips on how to discuss your own work in a sort of intellectual way? Thanks so much!!!
All noted 😄 I'll have a think but my RDS portfolio had so much variation in it - minimal traditional work but I did show an interest in drawing etc. I'll try and get some videos out regarding your other questions! Thanks for watching.
Great video, I draw photo realism portraits with pencil and I want to apply for university later this year, when I look at universities for art they all seem to just focus on painting and never mention much else, would fine art be a good course for a pencil artist?
The question is what's the purpose of you doing a degree, if you just want to make pencil art then a degree wont really teach you anything. If your career path requires a degree then it's necessary to do one, but doing a fine art degree will only give you a space to just do that art and won't teach you any special techniques or how to market or survive in the real world etc.
hii, could you please help me with a question, I really hope to pursue a degree in fine arts, but I’m concerned about the financial part and job opportunities, in your experience it is possible to find a stable job in this field?, have a good week :)
Have applied to slade, UAL and AUB for fine art. This vid will really help with my UAL interview !!
Thanks for this one bro, appreciate it :)

It's uncommon to be well informed about art history so yes if you can communicate that in the interview then I'm sure it'll help 😎
