- I loved visiting the UK! From the food, people, and views it was truly a memorable experience. One thing I will say as an American who visited the UK is it was cool to be the one with the accent :)

Keep calling it Big Ben , I'm British and we all do too . We know it's the bell really . The liberty bell was made in the same place as Big Ben , yes the liberty bell is British too !

Most Brits will know it’s called Elizabeth Tower, but i’m pretty sure most of us, when talking about it, call it Big Ben too.
While its generally referred to as Big Ben, the tower itself has never been called that. Before it was the Elizabeth tower it was originally known simply as The Clock Tower, and then St Stephen's Tower.
Big Ben is really a nickname for the bell. Its full title is The Great Bell of the Clock of Westminster.
Big Ben is the large bell in the tower that strikes the hour chimes.
I call it Big Bong
We all call it Big Ben in the UK, even though we know its called Elisabeth Tower, I've never heard anyone say "can you show me the way to Elisabeth Tower" ...you'd probably get half the people you ask say "where" 😂
Although it's officially the bell itself that is called Big Ben, everyone here in London calls the clock tower Big Ben too. A lot of people wouldn't even know what you were talking about if you said The Elizabeth Tower.

The original London bridge is in the US, whoever bought it, thought Tower bridge was London bridge lol.
That's a myth.

dont worry about what you spent girls on your stuff, you got them in London, greatest city in the world, when you get back home and wear them, your memories will come back, thats what life is about, make the memories, take it all in at your ages, i promise, your experience will help you for life
