劇本寫的超好！不拖泥帶水，女主角演技很棒！大推！！🎉
This is a rare plot, a hidden gem, one of a kind script. Every character was depicted very well, a mean horrible concubine, a shallow dense emperor, and the psyco avenger.. it carried out nicely without being too dramatic (for a chinese drama standart) where the story still believable. The actress play the concubine role deserve an oscar because i really hate her 😂 and we can see a cold hatered in the FL eyes everytime her plan move foward, she doesn't seek any gain other then revange. A 10/10 even with no romance
One of the most creative revenge plans I've seen. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾Effing brilliant 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 FL so beautiful but she was diabolical, she definitely understood the assignment. She had to remind the other concubine, this a long con, be patient. With a complete and happy ending...on to the next!!!

最近看到的劇都普普的，有些劇情都有點膩了，這部比我想像中的好看。
主軸不再是情愛，而是姊妹情深的戲碼，終於找到想蒐藏的戲碼，甚至馬上來寫個時間軸來讓自己方便下次觀看
唯一不太合邏輯的是已經廢腿的韋皇后在封后大典上怎麼能站這麼久，雖然有流螢的醫術，但就是覺得有點怪啦
可能現在要看這種極端的連自己身體都不要的極端片才覺得有力道吧，嗚嗚嗚胃口重了，滿分-10~10分給9.5分

女主角也太厲害啦…演技也特別棒，劇好看又過癮，從頭到尾都好看。
這部戲的服裝看得出來是大手筆，都很精緻，對短劇來說非常難得，只是頭飾的變化就比較少，不過已經很不錯了。
FL is good in acting but the villain Cuncubine is superb in her acting she carried out the whole drama on its highlighted peak

The FL was a piece of work, but I loved it! She laid the groundwork for a long term plan of revenge and saw it through to the end. And, lol, her sister's goodness saved her in the end, just like they'd planned. This was definitely worth the watch!

This is a pure revenge drama, very well-done, with no romance whatsoever. The plot is new to me (i've been on a binge), so that's refreshing, but since I like a slice of romance in my revenge, I won't seek to watch another version unless there is some :). Just a preference. It's really good--acting, costumes, the slow long game to revenge. The Emperor looked really young, but acted with the degree of disdain callousness regarding servants (unless one catches his eye) that was perfectly suited for that era. He never saw anything beyond beauty and when the FL lost hers (in his eyes), there was nothing there for him to appreciate. His loss :). The FL carried out her revenge and it was a huge takedown, with her own personal pain and lifespan as sacrifice. Recommended for revenge enthusiasts. Again, warning, NO romance at all.

Empress acted so well, first as arrogant and cruel then miserable and being crazy at last. well scripted revenge story. ending was good, the concubine deserved to rule.
Yesterday i watched similar plot drama on revenge it was indeed fresh breath of air. Really liked it, today again revenge drama good one. ML (rather call him a scumbag )was Wang Jimao n FL was Huo Cheng Yue. Name of the drama i dont know.

You shouldn't have expected that at all because he is the one thay sentenced her wjole family to death without investigating the concubine's claims. No loving child or sibling would end up with the man that did such evil to her family.

This is a great “Revenge-plot / Harem Fight”-story with really good actors and an interesting storyline (although the last part of the caption is wrong). I loved this brilliant/deceptive/ruthless FL who meticulously made those who hurt her sister pay the ultimate price. As they say revenge is a dish best served cold, and this one is served icy - my favorite kind. So, if you love a strong revenge-arc and smart FL, this is definitely one for you.
SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!!
FL’s sister was a female doctor in the Palace. She was praised by the Emperor for her medical skills but ended up making his favorite but vicious Concubine Wei jealous, losing her hands and was denied water and medicine. In the end she died and since Concubine Wei also framed her for poisoning her, the Emperor ordered her whole family killed. Luckily, FL managed to escape death.
Now Concubine Wei has been practicing a dance for 3 months in order to dance at the Emperor’s birthday party, only to have her ankle sprained. This gives FL a chance to approach her using her own medical skills - including her knowledge of poisons - and start her plans for revenge. Surprisingly, she finds herself an unexpected ally.
Well, this has a satisfying (it’s not a romance) ending.

The emperor's presence was a waste in this. Could have done the drama without him and it still would've been the same. The ML is attractive but I just can't get behind him in any of the roles that he plays. It always seems like he's an unnecessary add in.
