great kit I would add a magnet pick up tool for dropped bolts that end up stuck in the engine bay

Very nice! I'd throw in a little 12v test probe in the electrical bag as well. Super basic, light, and small. Also the white med tape would be good for labeling since the writing won't rub off.
Thanks for the run down, I'll be ordering one on payday!

Tried the white tape in previous iteration, unfortunately the adhesive was inadequate. Great minds think alike!

I ended up getting this on Amazon. So far it's held up for about a year without issue... (Renfrew, Cloth Hockey Tape, 1") (White, 25m)@@line4expeditions751

I agree with everything in your tool roll except your socket sets. I keep my socket set and ratchets wrenches in a separate hard shell carrying case designed for them. It's much faster to locate a specific socket then replace it where it belongs. I also noticed you only had a ratcheting style crew driver with bits. I also carry one of those but I also carry an assortment of screw drivers from flatheads, to Phillips to Torx. Nice kit though.

Socket cases in this application took more space than I was willing to give up. Sockets in the shop are organized for speed, tools in this application are packed with space savings in mind.

You can carry a heavier ball pin hammer 🔨 by sawing the handle just enough to fit in your bag

I wish there was one half that size to allow less weight per bag.

Is this the bag that I see on the Blue Ridge website for $165? That's a bit steep for me. I was hoping to put together a whole kit for that cost.

I think it’s important to start with what you can afford. I arrived at this bag after using a variety of Klein and Carhart products. I’d be interested to see what you come up with on that budget, so keep us posted! It took a few years of tweaking to get it here and it’s changed since this filming. The bag is bombproof and has lasted. Hope this helps.

What a great kit! I actually have a blue ridge overland tool roll on its way, and I'm trying to piece together a kit for the Tacoma. Appreciate you pointing me in the right direction!
Now are these part of your main tool kit at home, or are these just dedicated just for the truck?

@@line4expeditions751 should be a 1/4 nut driver and a 5/16 nut driver Unless they are both 5/16.

what kind of repairs can you do on the "trail"? Don't you need to have spare parts to do repairs? Also it's worth mentioning that if you want to have a superior folding knife, then one option would be the cold steel instead of the Bitchmade.

Line 4 Expeditions I’m fairly sure most tools in this bag are barely used , if ever used? One can take care of tools but with use comes wears like marks scratches bumps and dings. You can play like you have used these ,but again most were not used or really used. Say what you want but it’s obvious no matter what you claim. No need to reply. Cheers
