Which tent is right for me. Vango Banshee 300

- In this video I reacquaint myself with my Vango Banshee 300 tent which I've owned for 3 years now. I need a small and compact tent when travelling. But also big enough for my needs when out in the field.
Does the Banshee 300 meet my requirements or should I take it's smaller variant. The Vango Banshee 200 for my second Wild Camp? Here I try to find the answer to that very question.

Choice of tent! I'm in the same boat, having a Banshee 200, 300 and Nevis 200 I'm a little spoilt for Choice. I have thought if I had the money I would keep the 300 and get rid of the other two and buy a Hilleburg Akto or Soulo but I haven't so there.

Haha Thank you Doug. Sorry for the late reply. I'm packing for a camping trip at the moment. The 200 and 300 there really isn't much difference between the pack sizes. I've got them both in air tight bags and I have to keep reminding myself which is which.
Honestly at the minute I can see myself taking both Banshee 200 and 300. How is the Nevis? That's not one I have tried.
Hilleburg.....Thats a tent for when the overtime is more readily available for me haha

Hi, which one do you think is better? The Nevis or Banshee, I like that the Nevis is a bit lighter and seems romier at leas on paper however I have a feeling that the Banshee would hold up much better in bad weather conditions
I've been backwards and forwarding on the 200 vs 300 and at 6 foot it doesn't seem I could even sit up in it which is a deal breaker. Shame there isn't a 200+ which is just slightly bigger really.
Ive been saying the same thing for a few years now. Im 5ft 10" and I find it uncomfortable

Sadly not. I do believe that the 300 pro is a slightly older model. More luminous colour. Personally I would go for the newer 300 if given the option.

@@Bicinpui Yes thats what I'm saying. The 300 Pro that I purchased was in 2020. now if I search for the Vango Banshee 300 Pro it only gives me the 300.
The 300 is a darker colour green and the guide ropes attach via a flap at the front. Where as on my 300 Pro. The guide ropes attach around the front pole with an eyelet. That eyelet on mine has failed on one side. So yes the 300 as far as I'm aware is the newer version and in my opinion the better version.

@@ItsaCampingThing Ahhh stop ,ya see I was too focused on the Banshee and missed em all except the swim costume 🤣🤣,l ..I just bought the Nevis 300 after wrecking my own head over sizes and angles ...one question and ur the perfect utuber to ask because u use 2 pillows, is it true that the inner is really close to your face in the Banshee and......can u sit up without rubbing ur head???

Oh I can assure you. I change my clothes like a Eurovision Song Contest Presenter. Every new 4 minutes and sparkles.......okay, okay not the sparkles thing. But you get my drift haha
