I'm very very sad that this show is ending. Not just because it's a great show, but it's what peeked my interest into Asian culture in general, the music especially. So now, thanks to Naruto, I'm studying Japanese and will become an English teacher in Japan.

Every once in a while I come back and listen to a bunch of sad and happy naruto music just to remind myself how much this show has changed me. I was watching the show at a really hard time in my life and I remember coming back everyday from school excited and happy that I was going to watch naruto. It not only got me through those hard times but also taught me many lessons. The day I saw Jiraiya die was hard for me but I knew that naruto would go to any lengths to make sure he did not die in vain and I was not disappointed. This show will always have a special place in my heart

The feels from all these comments i'm reading, feeling sad atm that Jiraiya is dead even though this is anime. I could feel deep connection if as i was Naruto. One who truly looked up to Jiraiya as his own 'role model'.. I was going to to say father :( , feeling so depressed that the series is going away too. To be honest i cant find a anime like this, and maybe one as good in terms of fighting but not one like this-no it was a mixed feeling of emotional, pain, love, and change. Like a rebirth of a phoenix they get stronger each time they lost something. I'm glad i kept watching it even when it was just talking, and when people said "it's just fillers so stupid" i didn't care i loved them all. Because i truly thought that showing those fillers and flashbacks helped people understand more yet no one cared. Breaks my heart. Glad to be fan of the Naruto franchise. Good things will usually come to an end. Thought me how you should treat people and not give up on something you want and sometimes show a bit of emotion towards someone or something. This really hits deeply, the bond of Jiraiya and Naruto is very personal to me, i've had a similar bond to my grandma, growing up she always took care of me. Even when i was at fault, she always stood by me and never gave up on me. she passed when i was 15 and part of me died on that day, too. but i will always cherish the memories i've had with her.
never lost someone so close to me tbh, but when i remember jiraiya and hear this song, its like i get a glimpse of what it feels like. This is the scene that nearly kills you isn't it? :'(.... the whole naruto-jiraiya bond is pretty heart-wrenching, but the scene that shows Tsunade's grief is one that makes you choke on just air......they are so strong, and they are all holding on to their own grief, and going on living, protecting their people, but the friends that have gone through all the grief know your weakest sides, and have been with you through it....that makes Tsunade-jiraiya bond so deep and special....the childhood, good times, youth, wars and grief that they've been through...their emotional intimacy....it makes you reminisce about every moment they've shown about the life the sannin shared in the show.....Tsunade is so powerful and yet, Jiraiya is her equal, and knows her as more than this legendary warrior..there is now no one who knew her as a girl except orochimaru..no one who will call her just tsunade.....and when she finally lets herself be vulnerable and sheds those few tears, you remember their last meeting on that bench, and how jiraiya never got his love.....phew this show is a wonder
