It's such an amazing thing. Imagine what would become of us if we were in control. Praise God that this was all part of his great big plan for us
i disagree he gave us a choice to surrender or to control our own lives. And i totally understand that I would never want to force someone to love me or know me id want it to be true

This song brings tears to my eyes every time. I lost my mom last July and have suffered depression and anxiety. I've been trying to get closer to god and I feel him working in my spirit. I feel it. .but I'm struggling to stop drinking. I'm slowly transitioning...I'm working on quiting with help...but i Just had to put my cat down from lymphoma then a week later we are having to bury my brother in law. I feel like I'm struggling ..I give up control. I want more than anything to just walk with Jesus. I don't want to fail him . 😭

There's no need to fear to give your life to God. He loves you, and cares for you. He wants you to surrender your life to Him. Also, don't think that you have nothing good to give to Him. You aren't useless. That kind of thinking come from the devil. You are priceless. Remember that, and Jesus loves you. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you change from thinking that way. I remember feeling this way too. The most beautiful part of my surrender was coming to the revelation that it is not what I can do for God but what God can do for me. That was my ego telling me that I have to be in control or disaster would happen. This is not true for me anymore. I don't have to do anything, I just have to be. God will provide the path. Always. It was not easy for me either but I was finally able to surrender in safety and it has helped me more than anything else I tried. Inside my heart, I now have peace where there was chaos. I now have self-love where there were hate and rejection. My worldly problems still exist but I do not fear them anymore and they do not hold me back from experiencing love for God and for myself now. I know that you can surrender in safety one day too. Have patience in your path, my friend. God hears even the smallest voice, I am proof of that. I pray for God's very best for you, Sannie! The harvest is coming! Amen.
