Very interactive n practical session....sir pls throw some light on management of De winters and wellness syndrome...STEMI equivalent ...thank you
Hello, many thanks for the nice video.
I have an input on dose of Enoxaparin in MI.
In STEMI undergoing thrombolysis, 30 mg is first stat followed by subcutaneous dose 1 mg/kg after 15 minutes. These first two doses should not cross total 100 mg, i.e. for 80 kg patient, 30 mg iv and 70 mg sc(not 80).After 12 hour of sc dose,1 mg/kg sc bd dosing will continue.
For STEMI undergoing PCI, generally heparin is given. If someone is using Enoxaparin then ,if PCI done within 8 hours ,then no further dose needed in cathlab .If PCI done 8 hours after dose, then 0.3 mg/kg additional dose needed in cathlab.
For any NSTEMI or UA, 1mg/kg sc BID dosing.
Dose modification as said in video for age more than 75 or severe renal impairment.
Hope it will help.
Thank you.
Thankyou team
