She broke up with Miguel, and a badass, hard working, dependable girl, tory, fills that space. yes, tory was violent, but sam was always picking a fight with her. Sam never had a job in her life, never had anyone to look after, yet somehow tory was the villain because she's a messed up kid having to be an adult?

It was mostly Tory picking fights and challenging Sam throughout the show especially that point,yet the fewer times Sam does it you suddenly say she is always doing it,Tory literally bragged about stealing something so of course Sam is going to blame her,which turned out to be wrong and she should have apologized but still. Also when Sam wrongfully tried to grab Tory's bags she understandably pushed Sam into the table, Sam didn't feel any rivalry,need for payback or anything,she just accepted it and didn't have a good impression of her. Tory was the one who pushed Sam at Tory's work place first,then at the party Tory mocked and challenged her,then both Miguel and Sam made the mistake of cheating and Tory like a reasonable person tries to hospitalize her,but it's ok since Tory was struggling right? Heck it would make more sense to try to call her the villain in season 4 but you pick season 2,one of the two seasons that highlight Tory as the villain the most? Well. Tori and Robby were both alike. Had negative struggles that pushed them to criminal activities. Sam was a light in Robby’s life (even though she also did crappy things, she does learn from them and grow but leans more on doing good than bad) while Miguel was the light in Tori’s life. Tori wouldn’t be judgmental of Miguel for anything he did and would fully support him in the earlier seasons. Sam did support Miguel but they had fights in season 4 and broke up in season 5. I don’t see Tori and Miguel having that fight or breaking up

I know this is a Miguel/Tory fanvideo and of course a great work by Queen Cobra (as always :)!), but reading the comment section, I like to share something that too many people seems to forget: Miguel and Samantha were only using Tory and Robby to make each other jealous after a break up. There was never a real love between Toryguel and Samby, never. That break up did happen because Miguel became too violent in the end of season 1, and Johnny realized his teachings were too much like Kreese's. When Miguel became "normal" again, he was Sam's favorite as always. And Samantha made her choice clear in season 3. She could have both but chosed Miguel. And Miguel also made his choice clear in season 3 when he picked Sam over Tory, especially after this incident: The most imporatant point is this: When both Miguel and Robby knew Tory's both sides, means her violent, agressive side, but also her soft side, they acted like this (when they found out about her violent side), I am only paraphrasing, they didnt say that word-to-word but the meaning was like that: Miguel to Tory in Season 3: _"You have to change. You are sick (mentally ill). You need help. Go to a psychartrist"_ Robby to Tory in Season 4: _"I dont want to change you. I take you like you are, I like/love you like you are."_ Nothing more to say. When Miguel found out both sides of Tory's character, he tried to change her, even said she needs help and is basically mentally ill. When Robby witnessed both sides of Tory, he just took her like she is, he likes/loves her like she is. And when Tory herself realized this during the prom night in season 4 (Robby doesnt want to change her and loves her like she is), she gave him her heart. Robby was probably the first person she ever met who took her (liked/loved her) like she is, and didnt try to change her. Now about the current state (season 6 part 2): Did you all forget what did happen in the end of episode 9? Miguel also with a big smile to Sam: _"Well done!"_ (even if it hurt Tory so much). Robby: Looked like Tory very sad, didnt like Tory was sad and Sam's account hurt Tory so much. Any more questions? Miguel had a big smile in his face when Sam hurt Tory so much with her _"I wish you could celebrate with us"_ quote and Tory looked so sad and shattered. I disagree. Robby and Tory are my favourite, they were meant to be and ultimately Sam and Miguel cheating was the best thing that ever happened to them. But Sam/Robby and Tory/Miguel wasn't about making their exes jealous. Especially Sam and Robby (Miguel and Tory were more along the lines of fun/distraction with some feelings). In the prom episode you can even see jealousy from Miguel and Sam because of some residual feelings for Tory and Robby. The staring, the "you broke my heart too", Sam attacking Tory, Miguel staring at Tory, both accusing each other of staring and both apologising, and neither negating it. Whilst Tory and Robby only had eyes for each other from that point onwards. It was more complicated than making someone jealous. Even the showrunners spoke about how the prom dance brings to the surface some residual feelings which cause a fight to release those frustrations.
