Its honestly a shame your videos don't have more views. They are invaluable. I am studying for my test in a few hours, and you have helped me immensely. Thank you!
Hello, I have a question please. At 10:28, U said that this rotates it clockwise. But the 784 N going downwards is counterclockwise so why isnt it positive? I am using the right hand rule. Can you please clear my understanding of this concept? Thanks in advance!
I'm assuming you mean the pin at the centre of the pulley. The reason this was not included is because I didn't disconnect the parts (that is the bar AD and the pulley). If we had have disconnected (and drawn the free body diagram of each part individually) then we would have needed to include the equivalent forces acting there (like we did when we disconnected at C in the example).
I'd recommend rewatching the video. When you separate out the components to analyse there are internal forces acting horizontally to keep things balanced.
I wish I could get through more of your videos and I'm honestly not trying to be mean, because I think you're incredibly bright, but I just cant do the high pitch sing song thing you have at the end of sentences.

Look in the mechanics playlist - there are videos on trusses
why is the tension force at point E going upward. I thought it would be downward
Absolutely amazing
Nice and understandable explenation, thanks a lot.
where is this exercise? What’s the name and the problem
Why did you not include the forces for the pin connected to the pulley?

Great video and great voice and if you worked on ending your sentences on a lower pitch, it would sound greator.
Miss if your what if direction force is not correct in free body diagram
The answer will come out negative but the value will be the same. The negative sign shows you chose the wrong direction.
there are no external forces in X axis. doesn't that mean that Ax and Bx are = 0?
I'd recommend rewatching the video. When you separate out the components to analyse there are internal forces acting horizontally to keep things balanced.
Hi please solved my problem 😊😔 in Mechanics
Please favour 😊
🌹🌹🌹💋❤️
pulley radius = 0.1kg??!!
I am not sure what you are referring to. Sorry.
Bro understand the concept and ignore common mistakes man.....don't become a kid
