Bless you. I just bought a 1980 Toyota Sunrader micro MH. It is my “bug out” vehicle in case of fire here in Roundup MT. In fairly decent shape considering thieves broke a bunch of things trying to steal it at some point. Water system is kaput. Ok, since I may have to bug out in winter, that might be a plus since I won’t have to winterize the system. Growing up in Alaska some 77 yrs ago 😬 we spent summers in a dry cabin at the famous Kenai Lake, I can deal with that. Heat water, bathe in the bath area, use potty bags if necessary, haul water, and all is good. Tune up going well on the 22R engine, interior in decent condition, so brightening it up (all that dark paneling and ugly shag carpet) with white paint - so far so good. I’d like to get the water system fixed at some point, so this is helpful, not to mention entertaining. 😁

I like the term "bug out" vehicle. I suppose Fozzie is similar for us - just not necessarily exclusively for fire fleeing purposes. (Aaalthough - a lot of what I'm learning may as well be a... trial by fire. )
We live in Atlanta - so we'll have to pay some attention in the winter - obviously nothing like Atlaska.
Thanks for watching and the nice words!

Two words: Silicone Spray. Makes slipping anything over anything else soooooo much easier. Silicone-based so it doesn't deteriorate plastics, rubber, etc. the way petroleum-based lubricants will.
A little silicone grease is good to have on hand as well.
