I got a PU200 on a new Silverado. The transition lip were the dovetail meets up to the bed is sticking up around 1.5 inches taller than the bed causing the mower deck to scrape. Do you have that problem? I looked up and realized the Chevy beds are 1.4 inches taller than Dodge and Ford beds.
Just got the ramp rack. We fit a 48 inch zero turn and a 52 inch stander on the back of an f250. I do have airbags to support. My sons single axle f350 holds both mowers just fine with no airbags. Love the setup. We also have the handheld equipment racks!
I just bought a 36" stand on and I don't understand why this industry totally overlooks them. Much more efficient than a push, and much smaller than anything else
Seems like you could make a small step up for the mower to sit above the wheel wells. That way there would be no damage to the truck and you can fit s larger mower.
My 52" stander fits in between the wheel wells but it dents. Ramp rack made a video proving that you can fit a 48" up front and a 52" behind it and still closed the ramp.
What brand of 52” are you running and in what truck? I would love to get a Ramp Rack but by my quick measurements my Kubota 52” stander is going to sit way too far back because it won’t fit between the wheel wells of the bed in my 05 Dodge.
The best most efficient set up I’ve seen is a over cab truck with half box truck half dump bed to the side. It was a pretty big but no trailer but protects equipment and no Shoveling out debris.
With the gate down you still need a decent amount of space to park. I love the ramp rack. I went with a small box truck no bigger than a van. I can get both a 52 stand on and 60 zero in it at the same time but I usually just run one at a time. Somthing I don't like with the box truck is the visibility isn't great I'm planning to add a passenger rear window and also a backup camera but I've been to busy.
We upgraded our shocks and springs so our 1500 series trucks could handle 2 grand stands. That being said, I am looking into ways to add grip so the ramps are less of a fall hazard.
I’m really pumped to get one of these. However still have questions. You mentioned the suspension for the truck. Have you had any issues across your franchise with suspense going out or needing to replace it? Side note have you guys considered the brand “mow and go” instead of the ramp rack? If so why did you guy select going with these? I love the idea for the rack. However, the initial price for the rack to a trailer is a bit different. Can you speak to this? I mean I would like to rack don’t get me wrong but trying to justify dishing out 3k as supposed to maybe 1.5k for a trailer? How do the number actually add up? I know you’re a systems guy and it’s by the numbers. I wonder how this has saved you money in the long run?
I’m about ready to buy another truck and do something like this. What about if you had one of those ramps that come off the hitch? That’s the way you could still use it for hauling a trailer if need be
that carabiner on the spring is going to fail and some one is going to get seriously hurt very badly, and that's just standing next to it when it fails, that spring is going to become a missile whip and it will all be over faster than you can blink your eyes.
You could also back a 60” mower on so the deck is on the back of the bed
4x8 sheets of plywood and sheetrock fit in pick up trucks wheel wells and has since the 1960s 4x12"=48" and there is usually an inch to spare.
I have 2 and I love them. Makes the pickup truck so much more useful for property maintenance
I run a Ferris 32 Fw15 and a Wright zk 52 on the back.
Yes I beefed up the suspension

What do you do when it rains?
We run a 48 stander and 21 push mower and it fits with Room for 2 debris bins if needed on Ramp Rack
Why not just one 36"? Why push mow at all?
Glad it works for you

Everyone in my area uses 36” I’m the oddball that’s running a 52” and even more so because it’s electric
Worldlawn, exmark, scag and some Pruett even have as small as 32in stand ons

Makes the truck top heavy and unstable
Ken that's not true for a 3/4 or 1 ton. I use a sled deck with two snowmobiles that sit higher than a mower would and it's completely stable.
Mike! Where do you end up on the DISC test!? I’d love to know

@@adamhansen5071 your deck will scrape the edges of the wheel well. If you're okay with that it'll fit.
@@adamhansen5071 it's a worldlawn venom in a 2001 f150

How much does it usually cost to repaint the trucks you get?
$450-$1500 depending on the state you are in
Ours arrives on Monday ! Can’t wait to make money with it !!!

Exactly I would be better off with a box truck I want my equipment inside protected from the weather
would these work with a 1500 truck? or when you load all the equipment in, is everything too heavy?
Hi Mike, where can I get a rack ramp like that?
Their website... or Mow and Go Systems
Thanks Mike
You always have great videos. Thanks a lot

Paint with rust oleum mixed with play sand ,dry it, 1full coffee can best is sand blast sand crazy traction ,tractor supply has both 100% works
@@richscott2952 we had ours professionally sand blasted and powder coated. Think we could paint over that?

Mow and Go is a good cheaper alternative. We havent tested one yet.
We haven’t had any issues with suspension yet… Knock on wood
With us carrying two 52s in my f250, airbags was a must. My sons single axle f350 is just fine without airbags.
Where can I buy a ramp rack
Just Google then. Their website
Thanks Mike! Congrats on the other business moving forward. The video's have always been good but have improved greatly. Keep up the great work sir!

Good video. 39 franchises is awesome. Cool to see u are opening one in tampa im about an hr east of there and its a great market down here.
Really awesome video!
Hell ya!
That’s awesome set up Mike
Nice to see the ramp racks working out for you .
