Ocean sounds create natural white noise and low frequency brown noise which is great for drowning out distracting background noises so that you can sleep better at night. All audio is produced by ourselves. Video footage is either filmed by ourselves or we have collaborated with another nature videographer. We do not add commentary over the top of our nature recordings as it can detract from the relaxation experience. However, we do post behind the scenes videos/images on our community page & Instagram if you are curious about how we make our videos.

We edit, mix, & master audio in Protools & edit video with Adobe suite. We currently film with a Sony a6300, Lumix G80, GoPro Hero 7, & an iPhone X. We record audio with a Zoom H5 & Tascam DR05.
Typical work flow includes:

✅ Editing the video & audio
✅ Testing the audio on different playback systems
✅ Final edit & master

Thank you, it's definitely been a crazy few weeks and year so far, can't wait until I leave overseas in Ireland for a few months. My apartment doesn't feel like a home lately. I love that you don’t black out your sleep video. Its dark enough that it won’t keep anyone awake. But when I do wake at night I can momentarily glance at the beautiful ocean I’ve been sleeping to. Beautiful angle and view. Great sounds of the surf.

It reminds me of an area on Block Island Rhode Island where I lived for a couple years.I would drive my Van down to this area and sit and watch the water rush in.And on occasion it would be raining etc etc.

The lightning flashes are so bright, I can see them with my eyes shut just as I would with a real storm. Strangely it has a sedating effect. And I like how the thunder is nothing more than rumbles. Difficult to subconsciously detect an artificial repeating pattern like many similar videos do.

Everything will pass. the goodness won’t last forever but neither will the darkness and everything comes and goes
No one ever gets the thunder right. It should not be a forever, continuous, never ending rumble that just rises and falls in intensity. There should be longer moments of just the rain and waves without the sound of thunder permeating continuously.
One burst of thunder every 10 to 20 seconds would sound much more natural.
