Steph curry has arguably the worst whistle out of any star (not even superstar), nba player I’ve ever seen. People will say “he doesn’t drive enough”. Even when he does drive, he almost never gets a call. Plus that point is irrelevant since we see guys who take tons of jump shots just like him like harden, lillard, trae young all get tons of ticky tac calls over the past 10 years. And even when you look at the foul rate on drives, curry is at the bottom of the list, so it’s not about him needing to drive more. Even when he drives, the rate at which he gets a call is lower than everyone else. If he shoots 5 ft’s per game in a season, about 2.5 of them will be from other teams getting a technical foul, or at the end of a game when GS is trying to run out the clock and the other team fouls curry intentionally. They’re not even real foul calls.

Fewer players have benefitted in a beta role more than Scottie Pippen. His only great season as the de facto leader was in 1993-94. Outside of that, he was a little better than average. What he’s learned to do, in recent years, is follow LeBron’s lead, which is to use the media as your friend and do your bidding for all the ignorant fans, which he most-certainly has done since The Last Dance aired. It’s smart, but kind of pathetic, too.

@@Reaper13-hi3yo true but when it's all said and done, the focal point of the team is going to receive the majority of the credit. When their careers are over it's going to be looked at as Steph is 3-1 vs LeBron in the Finals. If Steph was to win another ring and not Bron, the narrative would change on who's actually the GOAT of this generation. That would also effectively kill the Jordan vs Bron argument, thus watering down the NBA's most powerful topic of interest over the past 10+ yrs. It's still a business bro.

he can put up as many meaningless stats as he wants as an old man, it doesn’t effect his career. he was a failure in the finals. won 3 and an asterisk championship in 10 finals appearances. he disappeared in big moments. he cried about “not having help” despite cruising to the playoffs the majority of his career in a sorry eastern conference. he initiated “player empowerment” with one of the biggest pussy moves in sports history which has ruined the competitive nature of the nba. most of the stat categories he leads are not due to skill, but due to him refusing to retire after he should have after the 2020 ring. he repeatedly calls himself the “GOAT,” displaying his glaring lack of humility.
how anyone can like him much less consider him the greatest player in nba history perplexes me.

They also act like Steph ain’t playing when actually everybody else has stepped up so he does not have to.
The free throw narrative is insane. All these analyst push the LeBron
    narrative
Let’s also talk about his no sportsmanship. When they win he all smiles in they faces. When they loose he immediately gets to the locker room.
Let’s talk about how Steph hardly get any calls although he is all scratched up after every game.
They hate Steph stepped in and dominated they golden boy who they wanted to be better than Jordan
Warriors keep proving everybody wrong. I hate when they always want to say who ain’t playing or who was injured or an injury for years ago. They never mention when a warrior is not playing or t that is why they lost.
Is is always the warriors barely won. A win is a win. But let the lakers barely win like last night with the grizzlies. Everybody is all hush hush.
When warriors in there is barely any talk about it in the shows. They spend time talking about why the lakers lost though
