    howd you do the headers?

They’re Eddlebrock Headers and cleared everything great. They dump into a Y pipe and out 3” tubes/cat/muffler.
I bought the headers used so I don’t know what model they are.

Tyler Brown i kept my 44re but wish I had the 46. I’m ready to pull a trigger on building another Jeep but will start with a niner this time.

Varian Mccray, no I had the 5.2 before but when it required a rebuild, I built a 5.9 instead.

@@lifelongjeeper yeah I have a 96 zj 6 inch lift but with 4.0 wanted to 4bt it but hard to find an 5.9 zj are hard to find so uma find a 5.2 or something I need it for these superduty axles I wanna put on brakes are better to

The 5.2 is definitely more available than a niner out of a Grand Cherokee, though the Dodge 5.9 will work and they’re quite plentiful, but will require additional conversions than a Jeep version would. While you’re at it, I’d grab the 46re transmission that was mated to the engine. Good luck man. It’s a fun project.
