- After playing Star Trek Online's new TFO "Operation: Wolf" I was blown away by what the Dev Team did with Earth Spacedock to remake it to the Mirror Universe. I loved it so much I had to make this quick little feature showing off the Mirror design!

It is amazing how changing the lighting, colours and adding banners can make a familiar and friendly place into something chilling and malevolent.
Terran Race faction or Booo. I want a Terran faction to play in.
They did a really great job combining the colors of black and red. Best use of black and red to make something look evil that I've ever seen.
it's only chilling and malevolent from OUR perspective. not theirs.
STO art team did an amazing job with this, and you did great showcasing it.
I never thought we would go so deep into the mirror universe where we would have a mirror earth Spacedock

FINALLY our Mirror selves show up! Ooh imagine if we had to have a space battle where they commanded the mirror version of our ships.
@@jeremydale4548 I think there's a possibility that we're going to play as our Mirror selves at some point, but I'm also wondering if we're going to fight ourselves, too.

Amazing artwork the Terran Empire is just as scary as the Galactic Empire from Star Wars. Great work to both you and the STO art team.

I'm commenting to help the algorithm. Did you see the Star Trek Contines episode that takes place in the mirror universe? It is a favorite of mine.

We need a story that impacts the galaxy we explore. Like we get stuck in the Mirror Universe like Discovery and get to explore all the Terran Universe. I'd LOVE that. The 'I.S.S' Springwood is ready!

now that was awesome from a peaceful universe spacedock to the mirror verse version Total military Dark verse persionally i like that dark Earth spacedock version it looked awesome=)
Be cool to see statues of famous Mirror Universe Characters and ships with write ups around the station
Amazing how the Terrans clawed their way back from being slaves and brigands to this without having learned a single solitary thing from the experience. No wonder the empire collapses. XD
Hate to say it but I don't think that was the case I think Mirror Spock tried to get them to be more diplomatic. However, it was already to late by the time the Terrans had become more peaceful it weakened them. To were there enemies were able to conquer them make them slaves as the Terrans had done to them. As such the Terrans had no choice but to go back to there old ways or be killed.
@@BurningFlamesofDivineDragon I didn't say what lead to them ending up brigands and slaves. Only that they went from that circa DS9 to this in the STO canon without having culturally changed at all. And saying "Oh being fascist asshats made us lots of enemies before, so lets go do that again." doesn't make a lot of sense.

@@BurningFlamesofDivineDragon I can't take the time to pedantically spell out their entire history to that point so someone won't misread what I'm trying to say. The wall of text would be a mile long and I'm not dedicating that kind of time to a youtube comment.
The new Terran insignia is from the Mirror Broken graphic novel series, and in that, the Terran Empire never fully collapsed, it still held Earth, and a few other planets, like Vulcan, and Andoria.

Great choice on the colors as well they used black and red very effectively here with the banners. Makes you feel uncomfortable.

Playable terran empire race!... i know its a hope far lost into a deep dark corner of a unknown mirror galaxy of a mirror galaxy from the mirror galaxy... but we've already got ships, uniform, characters and even ESD now!
The mirror universe counterparts are the Inquisitor so I don't know how they'd do that though since I'm discovery starfleet they could explore my resurfacing.
The main reason they won't do it is because A: New story plot characters missions etc would need to be made and B: They'd lose money from starfleet exclusive Terran Empire uniforms and ships in the Zen store the only true issue is what time period are they gonna put it in discovery Odyssey or current?

so its seems to me that the next new faction will be the mirror universe one. Theres so much content for them now that its a waste not to have a mirror character.
I'D LOVE THAT!! They could even make a twisted version of the Class of 2409 intro
I just hope that Vulcans are playable in a future Terran Empire faction, they're the first species to be conquered by them after all and it would be illogical to not include them.
I would absolutely love this. Great reason to have so many Mirror Universe characters here, especially with this new story's arrival. It's the perfect opportunity.
@@chrispilcher2024 Definitely. We got to see a lot of that version of them through Spock, T'Pol, and a bit of Sarek and Soval. Would love to see them get some inclusion in the game's rendition.

ok its offical we need a terran empire faction to play in.
Would be nice if they made the Mirror Universe an actual opposition faction. Make them a PvP based faction as the Klingons used to be.
Shouldent the Mirror Earth space dock be rundown and its interior should be at a 23 century lv of tech since it spent 80 years under Klingon/Cardasian ocupation assuming it wasent destroyed when the Aliance invaded the heart of the Empior?
I believe it was said or implied that with Admiral Leeta and the Pah Wraiths and the defeat of their universe's Iconians, the Terrans of STO were able to get advanced technology.

If this leads up to us getting a mirror universe expansion I'm gonna laugh. And I actually rather hope it doesn't for a few reasons.
