Shri Basant Ji, If I remember right, face value of ACC shares during HM times in 1991 was Rs 100. 1988 - The entire face value of each debenture was compulsorily and automatically converted into 1 equity shares of Rs 100 each at a premium of Rs 25 per share as at 1st June. 15,10,707 No. of equity shares were issued on 1st June, by virtue of this conversion. 1999 - In Jan. 1999, the company came out with the rights issue of equity shares of Rs 10 each at a premium of Rs 45 per equity shares in ratio of 1:4 to raise funds for capital expenditure on modernisation/expansion of existing plants and creation of new capacity at wadi. Also, in Nov. 1999, it commenced commercial production of captive power plants with capacity of 25 MW each at Jamul and Kymore.

Sir, I wish to know one thing. Why all big investors invest nearly 100 percent of their wealth in stocks.Why they take such a lopsided view when they are aware of the downside in the markets.Why capital allocation rule is thrown out of window even if they suffer mentally for this. The mentality cannot be explained or is it this trait that makes them successful.
Sir Gautam Adani is a true businessman,he knows how to run business,I am a cement dealer the way he has removed all the bottlenecks in pricing is brilliant..He means business and doesn't cheat the dealers ..There is no ambiguity in pricing and scheme like earlier....He knows how to run business efficiently ...I think Adani green,Ambuja,Acc ,Adani port will be multibaggers from 2-3years prospective..And one last thing He has credible business underlying..and all companies have history whether meta,Tesla , Google, reliance if we compile their historical litigation and present an adverse report and market it the way Hindenburg did any company can be decimated...
Now it doesn't matter whether he manipulated the prices or not because prices are at multi year lows,we are getting a sound business at lower valuation so those who missed out earlier can take part in India growth story

Some of the Stories I heard from my dad.. I suddenly felt a similar view point in your narrative Today. He used to traverse between Madras Stock exchange ( no longer operational) and BSE. He used to do Trunk calls through our BSNL connection to the brokers to buy shares( most of today's viewers would not even know that you needed to wait for 15 to 45min to get the call connected to Mumbai and a sweet lady used to say from exchange we are connecting your call). That time Harshad Mehta was god's words.. investment portfolio used to have ANZ, Zee tele, DSQ, silverline, Wipro, ACC etc Just for heck of it I have some paper stocks or share certificates in my father's name never converted or realised ..(just like 100 carbon/vinyl LP records and 100 of audio cassettes) Very nice to hear about the gade murde,.,
