The chilling atmosphere of the scene itself was enough for me to connect to the emotions of the characters. I understand the need to keep up with the beat of the song and the easiest way to stay in rhythm is to use animations, blurs and flashes but remember to proportion yourself. Your watchers know you have talent, so don't overkill the already flawless video with an endless stream of animations as it does tend to give a bit of a headache. All in all, it was truly a beautiful video, Good job :)
