I can't believe porygon2 wasn't taken earlier and I think avalugg will be a crazy tera captain.
The Beneral has assembled a great team for this season. I feel like I need to point out we don’t have any frogs on the team, but it’s strong nonetheless.

As for complaints, I thought long and hard and there's only two: 1) Distinct lack of Frogs. I know Frogs are Mighty and thus their power was perhaps too high for the draft, but still 2) Cannot for the life of me guess who Bubby will possess on this team to be New Bubby

Not only is my favorite team doing another league, but you got some of my favorite pokemon of all time. Blaziken is my #1 and Avalugg is maybe #5 most favorite for me with Galvantula not being too far off. I need to cheer even harder for this team this season!
After the Porygon2 pick I thought to myself: ok, they have 2 Trick Room setters now, so I really hope they draft something slow that hits monstrously hard, like a Rampardos. Glad to see that Ben was on the same wavelength haha.
I love this draft overall the only thing i think it's missing is a mon with high special attack and middle of the road speed that works in webs and trick room and gives you a special offensive threat (particularly for trick room) because outside serperior froslass galvantula (2 of which are normally utility mons and serperior loves sub seed glare) you have no way to threaten with a special attacker in trick room. I think you could easily swap out avalug for a pokemon like abomasnow or idk if it was available but hoopa or maybe even torcoal if you were really desperate magneton could've been a decent breaker for trick room. Competitive milotic dragalge chandelure tatsuguri duraligon reuniculus just something to help rampardos in trick room could've been insanely good imo
i'm so hyped for the tentacruel pick its so good for a lower tier league. It has really high special bulk and also gets acid armor which i'm pretty sure boosts phy def so it gets bulky on both sides + passive leftover healing its gonna be annoying to deal with
Oh this is going to be great, I like playing in NU. It doesn't have to be all legendaries to be exciting. Krookodile and tentacruel are long term favourites I can't wait to see how they do

Yooo I did a low tier draft and tentacruel was INSANELY good for me, honestly close to the mvp for me the ability to have momentum with flip turn and to lay down some hazards and can rapid spin to remove them were great. I even cooked with a rapid spin life orb offensive set with really strong moves to pick up 5 ko’s and sweep the battle with it. Definitely an amazing pickup
Sir Crocodile, Hancock, ???, ???, Sabo, Ju Peter/Bubby, Monet, Black Maria, Vegapunk, Ulti and Kuzan. Those would be my OP names for this team! And man am I excited to have Play More back in my feed ❤
Krookodile is my favorite fully evolved Pokemon! I'm so excited to see it as the first pick and am so excited to see it shine (also, my Krookodile is a terra dragon, lol).
FAV MONS: #1--Froslass: My Froslass Snow was a DEMON back in 4th gen, mostly since Platinum let her get Dark Pulse which the Battle Frontier was not ready for her to have (had to delete it to transfer her to later gens). Fastest and best EV'd mon I had for ages. I had her kill SO many Fearow for their EVs. Anyway, top tier pick, so much added in recent years, always for this #2--Serperior: The only reason I finally got Gen 5 when it was new was The Snake Starter (for newer fans, Gen 5 was very controversial in its own day). It ended up having a ton of ghosties for me to love too, but Percy the Serperior was my Main Man, and he didn't even HAVE contrary! An even Serperior did but I forget if that was gen 5 or 6. With it? In a draft league? And all the newer tools? BOW DOWN #--Porygon2: Ooh boy have I loved this thing since the beginning, and Eviolite made it SO much nastier. I must admit part of that love is my habit of shoving Tri Attack on everything that could learn it (Tri Attack's animations peaked in Gens 2 and 3, sadly, when it was Physical) just for the random nasty effects on opponents. Seriously. I put that move on MEWTWO in Blue even with the way worse animation and lack of special effects. Rarely gave them good names, looking at my handful of pre-Legends Arceus ones, but I've gotten better. #4 Tentacruel: I did not learn the Joys of Tentacruel til Gen 6, very late for as old a fan as myself, I know, but BOY can it be nasty-fun to use when used right! Jellicent helped show me the value of the Water Walls and the poison hurting Fairy made it even better in Gen 6.
We are back, baby! This team is definitely different, but we welcome all new pokemon. Out of this team, the pokemon I'm interested in seeing perform under the Beneral are Hatterene, Froslass, and Rampardos.
The team is looking good but again like last season there are few glaring problems: 1. Earthquake is really free into this team. 2. There no answer to flying type Pokémon beyond the ice types. 3. I am bit iffy on hatterene being fairy types its only good for me in trick room.
LOVE that this is a low tier league. Never seen this before and am very excited to see some underappreciated pokemon shine
