Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther” follows T’Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king-and Black Panther-is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life.
“Black Panther” stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, with Angela Bassett, with Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis.
The film is directed by Ryan Coogler and produced by Kevin Feige with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nate Moore, Jeffrey Chernov and Stan Lee serving as executive producers. Ryan Coogler & Joe Robert Cole wrote the screenplay. Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther” releases in the UK on the 13th February.

Wow...Chadwicks entrance toward the end is everything...I love his quiet confidence and calm spirit. There is a uniqueness about him. I like that they paired him with Lupita who exudes just about everything a woman should posess. I which they were a real life couple.

OMG!! Doesn't she? I didn't even know who she was as I don't have a television but I was saying WOW! She is gorgeous!! I've seen tiny clips of her in "Walking Dead" but still didn't see her in action enough to see how beautiful she is. I love seeing this burst of Chocolate on the screen. Last time I felt this was during the color purple. Because for some reason they think we only come in light-skinned bodies. We don't. We come in all shades and it only fair to show us as our royal selves authentically.

you could tell stan realized he picked the right one and was so happy and proud, and chadwick knew he made history doing this while fighting cancer, rest in peace to both these great gentlemen, they will never be forgotten.

The movie was extremely well done. The images were unbelievable, the characters we black and beautiful. The white guy that played the bad guy though, he deserve an oscar for that ish. He was a savage. Hollywood has to step their game up after this one.

But in other news...there are many references in the black panther story that point back home in Uganda especially the naming...for the most part they sound close to Ugandan names...I wonder if they picked inspiration from here..

Kacey Cox I watched a documentary about him and the reason he created the Black Panther and X-Men comics. He said he was inspired by the Civil Rights Movement and wanted to change perceptions by showing not all heroes are white males.
Good to know Stan had a different perspective about Black/African culture back then.
