Man, yall really went for it this summer! Somehow I watched part 3 before 2 but it's all killer and I am sitting here day dreaming about floating down these secluded branches for a few day long trip. Don't know if that'll ever happen but these videos are pretty close for now! I have a friend who is so fascinated by looking through the gravel in the washes that it almost seems like an addiction, she would never leave those huge washes.
That was our one big trip for the year visiting places that we’d never been. There was an hour of footage so I put it into three separate videos in case people wanted to watch only part of the trip. Tyler & I have talked about driving up the Stikine and then just floating down at some point in the future. The plan for next year is to check out a couple more tributaries that we haven’t yet seen. That washed out gravel area was amazing! It would be so cool to get out and explore it 😃
@@kathivy This series doesn't look like your most popular but I really like seeing your neighborhood more than your slugs. I'd like to see more of the area around Wrangell, like maybe other towns within jet-boat distance unless they all look about the same as Wrangell. Also if you could visit a Russian nookular submarine that would be fun.
@@Wearephuct-O there aren’t any towns easily in jet boat distance from us and I don’t get off Wrangell Island much, but at the end of February I’ll be flying to Petersburg, which is a town on Mitkof Island just north of us and I will take your advice and show you guys the town. The next time I go to Juneau I’ll do the same thing. I get bored of looking at slugs too. Next week I’ll probably be back with a video from the basement though 😬
Good grief girl that was dangerous in places, all them trees under the water 🤯 😵💫 good job Tyler knows his stuff.l was quite surprised not to see any wild life 🦬🐻🐾 Do you camp out for the night or for a few hours! Great stuff, have you and hubby ever thought of going on a Mule/horse trails,l could see you doing that 😊 thankyou for sharing would love to be on board if my nerves would allow me,but seriously fantastic Katherine 💞
@@joycehennequin8469 yes, the area of the river choked with dead trees made me nervous, but Tyler was fine driving through those sections. At the very end of Part 3, I zoom in on a running moose, but that was the only animal that we saw other than eagles. Not too many horses around here and I don't expect that the moose would let us get on their backs 😄 I'm glad you liked the videos, it was an amazing trip!

Is this what people mean when they are going to the lake? I’ve never been to “the lake.” Especially such a beautiful one. Thanks for sharing.
Yes! But, in Wrangell we all say, "We're going up the river" and that means that we plan to drive our boats up the Stikine 🚤😃👍
5:04 That's nice they have MREs made specifically for traversing the Stikine
Ha Ha MREs 😄 That meal is actually really good! I would even eat it for dinner at home 😋
