I just bought this (new formulation). As you said, it is a complex fragrance and requires time to learn to appreciate it. After reading reviews I was hyped to go try it and sprayed it on my hand in a fragrance shop. The first impression was MEH. So I decided to try Bleu de Chanel on my other hand. After about 30 minutes I smelled Allure again and damn it was good. Then throughout the day, I found myself constantly smelling my wrist like an idiot. The way the spices and the creaminess is put together, absolute perfection. Although Bleu de Chanel was good, it was boring compared to Allure. Next time I was in a fragrance shop, sprayed it on a tester, wasn't blown away by the opening, but I knew that it takes a little bit of time to really reveal it's glory. I wouldn't suggest you blind by it, go try it out, but don't give up on it too fast. Really a hidden gem.
@@shubhamsarin2263 I thought it was worse, but I've got compliments way after I thought it was already gone. I guess nose just gets used to it, but you never know, performance varies from person to person.
@@efnerva664 pleased to inform u that I bought a 150 ml. I'm satisfied with performance, the smell is amazing. Now I've all the allure line and this is my favourite hands down. By the way, how's the performance you're getting after testing it thoroughly??
@@shubhamsarin2263 Happy to hear that. I've noticed that other people can smell it hours after I thought it's gone. Guess the nose gets used to it. It's also still my favorite from the line as well, but have to be careful with the sprays on warmer days.
It’s good to see a modern review on a classic. This was one of my favorites when I bought it in 2012. I still have a few drops in that bottle I spray time to time. Stayed away because of fears I read it had been reformulated and is weak now. I just remember it as being very gentlemanly. You think it’s gone, but when you heat up a little, the most amazing almost 2nd skin scent rises from you. Ive been inspired to revisit despite its age. Excellent review bro.
The new formula for Allure is a joke. You spray it and you're instantly drowning in volatile scents smashing against each other like a train wreck and takes a good 10 minutes to calm down leaving you with a weak hint of it's former self. Designed to separate fools and their money the initial spritz jumps to life demanding your attention but lacks in anything of any real substance once it settles
I have the vintage bottle too with about 70ml left and it's absolutely magical but like all of my other vintage fragrances I'm too scared to wear them as there's a finite supply so I don't get to enjoy these anymore unfortunately. I'm 19 right now so I'm hoping to keep them safe until I'm 30/40 and then I can show my children what real perfumery was like. Because I dread to think what fragrances in 20 years will be like, if they last 40 minutes I will be surprised lol
As usual I'm glad I chose your review ober others because you even had the clones which I already own both but never wore. Summer is winding down and the temp is dropping to 70s so I pulled out Perry Ellis. It must have sat and cured because it smelled wonderful. I ordered the real Allure halfway through the review. Thanks
You nailed it. I watched this back in the day and this past winter had some and tonight bought a bottle. This thing is a masterpiece in my opinion. I’d love to see you do a top ten signature scents
Great review! I just got an older bottle and wrestling with the complexity. At first just pungent and disorienting but deep down I feel there’s something more to it and I keep coming back.
In 1996 when Chanel was released I was 19yrs of age and it became my signature and girls were crazy for it young and old alike. I've recently bought the new formula for my son without knowing they'd changed and I am crushed having just spent $200 on this wreckage. Appreciate the Vintage while you have it and store it well, I'd love to know where you got it?
Rustedblade i was 17 in 1996 and used allure back then , it was out of this world smell and i was gonna buy one these days ... but after reading ur comment i got disappointed...did it really change ?? It was amazing
Good video as usual bro. you have the old formulation. it's much more potent. the reformulated one has the banded cap and it's a weak lemon sprits with a little sweetness and very poor performance
Привет) Я не сразу понял этот аромат, поэтому купил себе тестер. Но потом просто влюбился в него. Действительно на жаркую погоду не подходит, но на осень должно быть самое то)
ALLURE EDT from early years was great scent. Amazing projection and longevity. Now this scent is a lot worse quility like it used to be. Very sad issue.
This is a masterpiece! I have same bottle myself, very classy and crisp wood's. My favourite in the Allure range.

How the performance of new batches...any idea? I'm getting mixed reviews from people on fragrantica.

@@efnerva664 True, this isn't for super hot days, otherwise very versatile. Thanks a lot for responding :)
Thanks for a breakdown of one of my favorite frags of all time. This started it all for me back in 2006.
This and Platinum are fav's of mine.

You always hit the point with your description. I bought it today, as I usually use the Sport extreme version. That peachy scent is really nice
My dad's signature scent 😊👌
I love this scent bt the performance in winter left me wanting. Will leave for spring and summer. Nice presentation bro
Awesome review Joy. I'm considering adding this to my collection. So underrated imo.
Great review as always bro. Fan of your content. Allure Homme is definitely a sleeper. A super classy fragrance indeed. Big salute from NYC.

Rustedblade it still beats any fragrance that’s out today

I sometimes layer it with a slightly fecal/barnyardy Oud,for example Aaron-Terence-Hughes first Oud edition. It’s actually incredibly good!!
I have an original bottle from 1999. Love it.
The smell is a masterpiece but due to performance issues it is relegated to the refresher/ body spray category because of how often I need to respray.
Best of all time. Absolutely masterpiece. Love it
You have a vintage bottle my friend. Pre reformulation
When did the band on the cap start appearing on this allure?
@@ramis7933 around 2014 I believe
Just bought this one last week and there is no more channel word in the front of the bottle....
Yep he does.i have like 50 old reformulated samples with the bronze cap .so powerful and potent.they made it a little weaker imo
Beautiful Juice..Allure Home and Boss Bottled #6 are two of my winter staples. These will always be in my collection
You nailed it.

Nice review...it confirmed the fact that it's going on my pick up list!
One of my all time favorites..

Just bought it. Love it.
one of the best fresh lemony fragrances I got... pity I dropped the £70 bottle 😥😥😥
This is my next purchase!!!
(Edition blanche is friggin awesome)
I love the frag and i love the box :) . Great video Joy Bhai

Yeah, its definitely not the same formula. Not even close
Very honest and informative. No antics

Does Chanel Allure Homme have the creamy drydown that Edition Blanche and Eau extreme have?
the best ever,like 100000 empty places..😍
Excellent review as always.
Well done! 👍🏽
Wonderful review!
Not my type, but damn.., you reviewing so amazing, i would have bought it, LoL.. )))
Excellent review. Keep it up Joy.
Is there a double c logo on the inside of the cap ? Like bleu chanel
It kinda reminds me of the scent from hugo boss, even though this was much earlier and is much better.
ALLURE EDT from early years was great scent.
Amazing projection and longevity. Now this scent is a lot worse quility like it used to be.
Very sad issue.
Fragrantica notes for this does not include cinnamon. At least in 2021.
Fragrantia have the notes wrong a lot of the time I wouldn't believe the note breakdown there better to go to official site .
Can you review Bvlgari Extreme?
Great review bro... the name says it all
my second best allure i love this one
Why is my sprayer different
Bro, please mention the price of the perfume in Bangladesh and where we can get it.
Please mention it in the Description.
Hey Joy, which fragrance is close to this, which is in budget also????
Great shirt, good video!
Hey Amin, great review again! I suggest you review Armaf Beau Acute, really worthy.
Ali Hussain I've heard alot about Beau acute. Is it anything like Ck Eternity? what does it remind you of?
maywthrfan it is nice and sweet. An amazing summer scent. After a while, it becomes similar to Egoiste Platinum by Chanel
Great review.
Its a nice fragrance. Really enjoyed it
great review as usual.. Salam from India.
bro allure homme price koto hote pare bd te?
Just found this in the closet unopened.
good video..i like parfum special..
jose of paraguay
Thanks a lot nice video
Bro your selling fragrance!?
Ferregamo F Black is pure dirt. La nuit the l'homme is not an easy wear to begin with. But F Black is everything I hate about YSL on steroids.
But do you wear arm Deodorant because your nationality usually doesn't wear deodorant so the smell of bio and Cologne is extremely unattractive
What a strange thing to comment
