Sir.when company recommendation is 5w30 u have used 5w40 engine oil grande
Any notable observations/advantages?
the original PSA-Peugeot-Citroen specification was 5w40 for this engine. Ford decided to use the lighter 5w30 as PSA now do also. I change the oil in mine every 6 months using 5w30 for the winter and 5w40 for the summer here in England. 5w40 gives better protection against heat damage, 5w30 gives better protection against poor cold-flow damage.

Is it worth buyin ford figo in 2023 for around 1.60 2012 titanium plus mt ran around 72k km service history is also available my concern is are spare parts easily available & is engine reliable
Its a good car and still we get spars and can be maintained for next 3 years without issues.

My Ford Figo 2011 diesel is consuming lot of engine oil bro. Do you have that issue?
If it's taking more engine oil, to figure out: if you take the dipstick and check you may find more carbon deposit, in this case, we can assume it's a piston ring wear-off or the engine gasket needs replacement. Could you check for the smoke color to find the exact reason?
Hi Bro, I own 2011 diesel variant mine struggles after 130kmph clutch plates timing kit tensioner kit all are new do i need to clean egr and intake manifold ?

First check air filter then clean maf sensor. If these two process not rectified your problem next step check turbo. EGR cleaning next step and then injector. Better visit dealership to find the problem instead of local workshop. Local guys tell you turbo or injector issue though they are working fine. After finding solution they will call you and tell you the amount. That time you can decide where to go.

Hi, I’m using a 2014 ford figo tdci diesel car, the car recently has the handbrake light randomly come on and the car loses power when I try to accelerate, do you perhaps know what might be the problem?
Kindly check the injector if faulty and the ECM error code with the scanning tool. Preferred FDRS.
What did you put in the coolant?
I used pre-mixed coolant
is the filter square shaped for the petrol variant?
Depends on the version you have, Air filter is Square for petrol version

I have a figo petrol 2012 model only getting mileage of nearby 10 km
please check the injector block/air filter/ fuel filter and fuel pump/ turbo, if everything is perfect kindly check the ECU remapping if needed.
What about the fuel filter?
I have a Diesel car, and it's not really need to change very frequently

@@chandrasekhardadi6498 Sorry sold my car, its easy-open up the engine bay take out the injector its like a spark plug and give outside for service but cleaning is not recommended for long life, better to spend 15+k replace it with a new one if gone/getting injector failure light on the dashboard.
