One of the best splits ever recorded, specifically love Leviathan's side. Xasthur's side is awesome as well, but Unfailing Fall Into Naught is one of the greatest recordings ever. Absolutely perfect.

Both can do each other's specific style quite well, but the majority each other's discography is defined by these slight differences.

@@Elitetiger27 Malefic’s earlier stuff uses a machine, and so a machine is probably used for his side of this split, too. Wrest has always used a kit, I think.
Malefic used drum machine since Xasthur started until the year 2007 that he could buy a real drum set, which was in Defective epitaph where he showed the drum set right on the music album. In the One Man Metal documentary he mentions that but he doesn't want to admit that from the beginning he used the drum machine. And Wrest, I understand that from his beginnings he also used an electronic drum kit. Until this split he was able to play a real drum set (and the sound change is noticeable unlike his first albums like The Tenth Sub Level of Suicide and the demos like Shadow of No Light).
this is and forever will be one of the best albums one man black metal has to offer.
