This is absolutely incredible, I'm legit blown away! Sonic R is my favorite sonic album and favorite album in general and just hearing it in rock music just makes my heart explode with excitement and pure joy. I really hope you'll make a Can you feel the sunshine cover.
You're in luck! I've already got one in the works! I livestreamed it a few weeks ago for a video game music festival. I'm just tidying up the 'official' version and maybe making a few amendments. I basically made it in the style of "The Trooper" by Iron Maiden but it's a bit too incoherent at times ahahah

@@DrMobiusOfficial yeah the late 90s is a weird time for videogame OST lyrics hahahah and no, not when it came out as I didn't see a Sega Saturn until I bought mine in the early 2000's -- but it was one of the games I bought with it! It got a lot of play too since the other one was Ghen Wars so... Sonic R is what I played for a bit till I fleshed out the collection lol X'D

I played something different in the verses but made them into backing tracks. I've posted a link to it here. Excuse the sketchy singing.
