- Akimbot is a action-adventure 3d platformer that is an homage to old school Ratchet a Clank titles. Developered by a small indie studio Evil Raptor and published by PLAION, this game really does feel like a love letter to that classic PS2 era of gaming!
If you're a fan of any of the retro Ratchet and Clank or Jak and Daxtar titles then Akimbot should be a game you definitely check out!

Game looks clunky as hell.
Why the game does have AA jank to it, its really not that. The movement and gunplay actually feel pretty good.
That being said the vechicle sections can be a tad annoying. Esp driving the car, IMO those are the worst lvls in the game.
@flexin85 gameplay you're showing has you clipping through areas and scripted platforming sections are stiff like when you're running in the walls.
Also the blur doesnt look good when aiming and 4 weapons for a ratchet and clank inspired game with no evolving? Honestly insulting
@@randomenvelope I agree the weapons needed more customization. which why I talk about the shop being basically worthless. In fact half the weapons feel worthless most of the game.
As for the wall running I’m not clipping through I am jump through them at some points just to speed it up a bit. I get impatient lol
