The US seems to have such complicated laws that if you had the money a criminal could spend the rest of their life in a court room instead of a jail

SCOTUS has no spine. The whole point of sending this case to them was to DELAY, DELAY, DELAY. They've known the whole time that they were going to send it back to the lower court.
So the Supreme Court couldn’t just let the original lower court decision stand and avoid wasting all that time?
At this point the Supreme Court has shown a lower court is more qualified than them.
Trump's best chance would be to argue that he can't be tried as an adult.
