Been a Spurs supporter for 52 years since I was 6 years old. Grew up in a community a few miles from Tottenham and I miss the Tottenham "roar". If ever there was a time to get behind your team with a chance of Champions League football is was at this game. Spurs won a corner in the 79th minute 1-0 down and matching City across the field. All I saw was clapping. Bloody clapping. I hope Arsenal do win the league because you know what, that will be the proverbial hands on shoulders and shake moment for Spurs. Wake up and see how a true football project is run. Spurs fans should be praying for an Arsenal title not rooting against it. I hate Arsenal and Chelsea as much as any Spurs fan but focus on our team - pull them through these games. Atmosphere was too flat. Take Man United fans for example last Sunday, they hosted us fully well knowing that if they were to lose it could've helped prevent City from winning the 4-peat and eclipsing their own clubs' record, but did any of their fans actively want them to lose to us? Did they wear Arsenal shirts, cheer when they conceded and celebrate when they lost? I couldn't agree more with Dave about, "If I was Postecoglou, if I was Maddison, if I was Son, I'd go into the club tomorrow and I'd hand them a letter and I'd say, 'there's my resignation,'" over a club's fans actively rooting *against* your success when a Champions League spot was still possible (and that goes especially so now that it's been confirmed Tottenham *would* have qualified for the Champions League if it had defeated Man City the same day its own fans were rooting against them)!
If a majority of your own fans actively root for your *failure,* that's *by definition* officially a culture of sabotage and you should go *anywhere else* where *at the very least* that culture of sabotage does not exist! Postecoglou, Maddison, and Son may not succeed if they go elsewhere, but I can all but guarantee that *anywhere* they go, they'll almost certainly *never* have their *own* fans *root* for their failure!

I was driving to work yesterday and saw a British geezer with a spurs shirt on. I put my window down and said to him “you guys better win!” He responded to me with “I certainly hope not”. I was stunned and just left 😆 crazy ass fans.
This is very sad. Tottenham fans and O'Hara have disgraced the spirit of the game. They dont realise they have branded themselves small minded for the rest of their days

What would that have to do with us though? The point of some of us not wanting to win last night, was solely to not hand them the title ourselves. If they win it on Sunday due to other circumstances, that's irrelevant to me. Obviously I'd rather City win the league, but the point is US not winning it for them by getting a result against city. That's what would have been unthinkable. If they win it sunday, then fair play, they'll have deserved it.
