I have a soft spot for good skin care and tried to declutter. But I realized that I use most of it. Even some for not the intended use. I have two 50 ml facial oils that I now mix in with my body lotion, because they're really good but too much for my face. So I only throw away empties and products that went bad, while not buying new stuff. I hope you have a good move. And no worries, we love the hour long videos.

I’m a big fan of the REN balm. Defiantly need to try the Erin’s Face balm too. You might want to check out LiveBotanical balms, they’ve been an absolute skin savior for me these last two years. The Sanctuary Barrier Balm has this lovely whipped oil texture that feels protective without being too heavy. All of their balms are a bit heartier than the REN, which is more like an oil after application. I think it’s the wax content that gives them a really special thin, but durable feeling on the skin.

You are so well spoken, have such a clear message on spending, you don’t hoard or gatekeep while also producing such informing content! Hannah darling, solution for the castor oil situation - you can purchase empty mascara components online (both packaging supply shops & Amazon have them). Fill those puppies up with the castor oil & then you don't have the deal with craziness as it will be contained in a mascara tube. (Sometimes the wands that come with the bulk components are not the best, but you can always pop in a wand of your choice. Even if it's not an exact fit with an alternate wand, it will still be more manageable of a situation.) This one was a lifesaver for me, I keep a tube for my brows & a tube for my eyelashes, no mess or fuss.
Oh, so frownies are like a hack to get a resting b face! Thankfully I've mastered it since i was 10. 🤣

DC area is VERY humid. You might not have as much problem with dryness here, especially in the summer
Love a declutter! Although I don't have a huge skincare collection, it's useful to know when a product doesn't work for you or if a face product could be used for the body!

As an aside, the glass bottle for the tonik that you used up from cult&king -- that's meant to be reused! Could pack and get a refill for less expensive than just buying a new one if you wanted. Alternatively, I'm sure you could give it away.

I moved a lot- dh’s job, and the joke I loved is “3 moves is as good as a house fire!” There’s a kernel of truth as each move forced me to think hard. Inevitably each time I would do another declutter as I tried to fit the stuff into the new home.

I’ve got 14 Frownie patches left! I’m never going without these. I’m 32 and have almost been able to erase the frown lines on my face. I have also noticed I am way more aware/In control of moving that pesky muscle. I’ve never done Botox and I don’t even think I want to anymore.
Another dose of medicine in the latter hours of the night and I am now happily ready to go to bed satisfied, calmed, and full of new skincare knowledge. Most enticing and comforting person I watch and I truly thank you for your content! ❤️❤️

I gave it to my friend James and I'm sure he's going to love it! It's a beautiful product, I just don't use chemical sunscreens because of my history of hormonal acne. But I know that for a lot of people they are amazing and don't cause issues.

Re: all the products you mentioned pilling on you--I have a theory that skin products are a lot more prone to pilling on dry skin than they are on oily skin. My theory is basically that the oil on a person's face gives the product something to bind to and begin to mix with. One’s natural oils essentially act as a liaison, marrying the skin and the product. That’s my (extremely unscientific) theory, based purely on the fact that I’m a dry-skinned bitch and products pill like crazy on me even when they often don’t pill on others.

Could you do a “wearable” or “natural” eyeshadow look? For example, if you were a teacher or nurse? Thank you! So many eyeshadow looks are beautiful and stunning but too dramatic for first graders.

It looks so dusty/pinky/brown yet coral? I’m also a pale olive and I find it so tricky to find nice polishes that don’t go completely pink or orange!

I must admit the frownies confuse me! I surely don't frown in my sleep do I or while reading? Mostly conversation would create frown lines and I would look kind of silly talking to someone wearing it then 😂

Definitely not a fan of the facial patch concept. Not as bad as Botox doesn’t mean good. Theres a feedback loop between your facial expressions and your feelings so studies have shown that freezing facial muscles actually minimizes the intensity of our emotions. I’ll take wrinkles and feeling authenticity any time.
I love looking at the skincare people are using even it’s not all suitable for me 🤷🏼♀️
