Some great old cars and trucks something you don't see any more great video as always You all do the best salvage yard videos on utube to me great job. Thanks for sharing ❤
@@DolloffAntiques hay doing a great job iv watched a lot of your videos have you done a walk around of your all s.yard happy picking be safe be looking out for that next video
Im from Detroit, currently residing just outside the city and I can say that there are zero junk yards like the ones you frequent in the Dakotas, Nebraska, Iowa, etc. Im puzzled as to why that is. The Motor City and you'd think there'd be a spewing cornucopia of yards in this area but the reality is, its not that way. However, because of you, I now have another "must do" vefore I kneel before Jesus! Im definitely working towards taking a road trip with my son in my truck with an empty flatbed in tow with the goal of finding and hauling back two old pickup trucks!! Thank you. Brother!!!!
Yes there are some good yards in the west. Where we are it's a very dry climate so they don't rust much and it's a long ride to the scrap places so most people just let stuff set rather than crushing it thankfully. Thanks for watching! We really appreciate it.
I'm a sucker for the full-size 67 Pontiacs and that Bonneville at the 14:00 mark looked pretty dang nice! What's the owners plans with that? Is that something that he'd consider selling? Keep the videos coming! :)
Mr Hyder posed an essential inquiry about Snakes . . . I'd imagine that's a prime location for Prairie Rattlers in that part of South Dakota. Whether you call it a junkyard, salvage yard, or wrecking yard, it all boils down to one thing. It's a TREASURE TROVE❗ In my prime - - the early to mid 60s in Southeast Louisiana there were salvage yards everywhere with cars dating back into the 20s. You had to be on the alert for snakes, fire ants, poison ivy and stinging bees, wasps and hornets. Oh yes, don't leave out the irrepressible junkyard Billy goat, which would actually climb onto the automobiles trucks etcetera doing his protective duties. 🐐 I think that when Thomas Wolfe wrote "you can't go home again", he must have gone to visit the haunts of his "salad days" only to find them abandoned into weeds because the prizes had been claimed by such as movie studios producing period films, or perish the thought, by the recyclers ❗🙀 That's my story and as sad as it is, I'm sticking to it ❗😋
Your doing just fine on these videos!! Keep on, as is. A 24:08, that model A with the trim band on the cowl - didn't that indicate a Victoria or at least a Deluxe? I thought it also had corresponding holes for the cowl lights. Good stuff, thx!
Visit Oakleaf in Hartford, SD. Sign a waiver and you can wander their yard. It's very good. 1971 Mustang Mach 1 in Grabber Yellow when you enter, also a nice 1959 Ford Ranchero. Happy motoring.
Geez. I need to move 5 hours south and collect some good rigs over the winter 🤔 😂 🤷🏼♂️ Not much for big collections of old pre or post war iron anymore 😢
Id be hunting for a solid 81-87 Pontiac Grand Prix that is solid,a mid 70's b body Mopar like the 78-79 Chrysler Cordoba you pointed out early in the video,, and what I am trying to find local to trade around on is a bumpside Ford 69-71 Ford f250 hopefully a camper special and a automatic transmission truck for a project, and I will deal someone my mostly solid 2000 dodge ram laramie slt quad cab long bed 318 magnum V8 46 RE AT manual shift transfer case lever on the floor gloss black with most of the white pinstripe 1500 4x4
Did you ever get the 55 Willis wagon from the video I first contacted you on? And on the second lot there's a brown Chevy van what does he want for that?
I'm sure I'm not the only one but I enjoy watching you go showing us the old salvage yards and seeing what's out there. Thank you for the videos
Thanks! We have lots of cool stuff planned so stay tuned!

I LOVE the much older Trucks from the 1930s to 1960s.. and the 1935s to 1950 long nose farm trucks and semis
Cool junk yard. I especially liked the Monte Carlo and the Buick Skylark! I hope they are rescued.

That was a nice 1974 Monte Carlo. It might be in better condition than most cars there.
I really like that 52 Plymouth belvider
I like the model A stuff
My two picks to take home would be the B Body Plymouth at 19:39 and the blue 60s Dodge pickup at 21:30.

There is always the chance of Rattlesnakes in South Dakota so we try to be careful and watch plus listen for them.

Thanks. I have been there several times 20+ years ago but have been thinking of doing a video there.

The light blue rust patina Mopar is in fact a 73-74 Plymouth satellite Sebring..

I have been trying on the wagon but it belongs to someone else and I am hoping it will happen at some point.. the van could probably be bought.
@@DolloffAntiques what are we talking about the van...G20? Year? Condition?...
when you are out looking at these old cars and Trucks,, do you ever see or come acfoss RattleSNAKES..
Yes we do.. You need to be careful in the warm months as they can be anywhere..
Blue 75-78 Chevy square body truck would make someone a good driver in nice shape and I have definitely owned and drove worse square body trucks..
Yes it would! It's a very solid old pickup
Looking for 1963 Cadillac series 60 Fleetwood. Please
Don't know of any at the moment. Sorry
