I remember a NK player in the 2010 WC (I think) taking a shot which missed by miles, but he turned and celebrated wildly. He knew the TV back home would edit out the miss, or even edit in a goal from someone else, and he'd be a hero. Smart but sad.
I am not sure, but I think, they showed some Portugal clips with their wc2014 kits in that North Korean news. So it cannot be reporting them winning the 2010 wc. Correct me if I am wrong
His dad Kim jong il was the best golfer in the world. He told people that he scored 11 hole in ones on a 18 hole course. When he passed a few of the top golfers praised him as the goat of golf. 😅
Hey great vid. The NKs playing in Japan might be chongryon, born and raised in Japan but from NK and go to NK schools in Japan which is why they're allowed out of the country
