Hi thanks for great video. As you know we have 2 months cooling off period once our contract is over with previous employer. Once I apply for visa to update this 2 month period is already over or it will be done once I have my visa approval? Because even to get a decision will take 6-8 weeks.

So you need to get your visa submitted within that 2 months. Even if you submit your new visa application in the last day of the 2months, you are good 👍🏾
Good Job, if main applicant visa was more than 3 years before and switched to a new employer with 2-3 years visa do the dependants need to update their visa's because the old visa update they were having is 5years

Dependents may not necessarily update at the same time as when the main applicant switches the employer but they must update or switch before their visas from the main applicant previous employer expires.

Hi! I want to work in the UK for 5 years on Tier 2 visa to get an indefinite leave to remain. Do I have to work with the same employer to get this? Or for example, if I worked with my first sponsored job for 2 years and then changed my job, started working in a new place; does it count as the 3rd year to get my residence permit or does the process of working for 5 years starts again from the beginning? I don't want to waste my years by changing employers in that case. Hope my question makes sense:)

I haven’t thought of this o. I’m not sure if that option is available. If not, you should be able to change it via the couriers website. This happens when they miss you at delivery. They’ll ask you to go online and reschedule

Better still go back to the application, and pick that you don’t have a phone that can do that. So you’ll have to go for a physical appointment for your biometrics

Hi thanks for the vital information in the video ,I’m having issue using the UK ID ,I’m I suppose to input the original expiry visa date on my BRP letter or the 31 December 2024 on the BRP card cos my current visa actually expires 2025 while using the UKID cos I tried with the 2025 it saying it’s not matching
You should input your original visa expiry date
I believe you should use the expiry date on the card and not the one on the website because it is asking for when the BRP card expires. I used the date on the card and not the one on the website and it worked for me.

Not when you’re filling the form. However, if your employer hasn’t ticked maintenance for you, you’ll get an email to request for your proof of funds

What will happen to the visa and IHS fee already paid in the previous application if visa has 1 or 2 years of validity? Do we get refund or nothing for the remaining period? What about the health surcharge fees paid for the previous Skilled Worker Visa, logically they should transfer it to the new application and require any additional payments in case the previous fees are not enough for the period of the new skilled worker visa. Do you have any idea in this regard.
Unfortunately, I do not have an idea. Healthcare workers do not pay that fee anymore, so I don’t know the process for that.
I’ve changed visas before (dependent to Skilled Visa) and was refunded the years remaining on IHS. The refund would be automatic and will go back to the debit or credit card that paid the fee initially.

I am more than a year in the Uk but my dependant is just 7 months in the UK. How much do I need to show as proof of fund for my dependant since she is less than a year? Will the fund be in the dependant's account? Lastly, since it's UK account, is it necessary the money should be in the account for 28 days before we can use it to apply for visa?

Please, how many days did it take your new visa to arrive and what happens when youre suppose to resume a job on a certain day but your visa is not yet out?
About 6 weeks to get decision. You should tell your new employer and they’ll probably ask you to let them know once visa decision is out.

You are already in the UK, I don’t think you need vignette on your passport again. What you need is a new brp which can be sent to you without you visiting the visa application centre

Though have gone to see my GP and they did test for me for and said they will contact me if anything and up till now nothing. Well it’s possible to change your jobs. While changing, make sure it’s a job that offers sponsorship as you need a visa(from what you’ve written). But if you already got your ILR, then you don’t need a sponsorship 👍🏾

If you didn’t use phone application, they will send you the documents to take to the biometric centre. They usually include passport, brp, COS, proof of fund (if less than a year)

I am not sure, but it’s good if you have those evidence to present if they ask
While applying for the update in change of employer, in my COS, underneath the section Tick to certify Maintenance for migrant it is mentioned as N, however in the application I have mentioned by mistake as Yes under Financial Maintenance.

Will the POF be for 28 days since one is already in the UK? At what time will one start the application online? After the 28 days of POF or when?
@@joyogbonna2031 usually, they give you a deadline to send the proof of funds to them, and it’s usually not up to 4weeks. So your proof of fund needs to be in your account before you submit visa

Sorry to add up here. but i have a similar issue. I have been in the uk close to three months and my employer seems not in need of my services yet. Do i switch or update once a get a new COS and whether it'll be a problem when i want to extend my visa. Please an explanation would help, thanks

Yes tou get a new brp, although that is expect to change soon. It can take up to 6weeks to get a decision

your dependant are not changing their visas for this type of visa. if it is visa extension, then yes your dependants will also extend their visa but you will have to register and pay for them separately.
