      I've got a couple of questions..
      1) How big is this farm
      2) Are the sheep kept in the enclosed area all the time
      3) Breeding method is superb, any book that could clarify the F1, F2, F3 strategy
      4) Can the breed do well in Southern Africa

    • @eblasandson2
      @eblasandson2 2 года назад +18

      @@UyapoKnight the land size is 60M by 60M is where the housing is. It is intensive sheep breeding. The space at the middle is the exercise ground. I can't tell about South Africa. The ladoum breed is a new breed engineered in the 70s and perfected in the 90s.

    You've been quite inspiring, after watching this last year I got a small structure constructed and started with 2 sheep here in Ghana, now I've got 3 and they'll hopefully be 4 soon...
    Learned a lot of lessons along the way and it's honestly all been amazing.
    Now, I see I can actually get them to 500 with some effort and more breeders, hopefully I can get them to even a 1000 one day...🤞

    His sheep look happy and they are taken care of very well.❤ Six months and slaughter I think is too young - but that is just me. My mother was raised on a working farm - her mother was a farmer and her father was a fisherman.

    Farming of plants and livestock is the way to destroy hunger. Youths of Africa change the narrative. Agriculture can be sophisticated. Start small, plough back the money and buy machineries for expansion and lessen the hard labour. God bless African youths. Team up in groups to enable you learn and reduce your cost too

    Hello Wode Maya.
    Feeding Is expensive for animals but because Groundnuts are our main cash crop (export crop) in The Gambia I usually do a farm with friends and/or family members at the province whereas I pay for the expense of the farm during the raining season and share the produce cost so its free feeding because you sell the 🥜 and get your investment back whilst the groundnut hay will be used to feed the animals...
    That is a win win situation.
