Recently, Flew A.F. Long Haul Business class for the first time. Absolutely perfect, service, food comfort. I’ll definitely be using them again especially if they still give me a good deal as they did on that flight. Their economy seems good compared to many competitors.
Landing at CDG somehow brings me joy. don't know what it is but it brings me comfort. Similar, if I land at JFK and go through customs, it is like almost been home
I understand that feeling. I get a similar feeling when arriving at JFK or ATL after a long trip. It’s a nice feeling of being home in a way. Landing at CDG has been great so far as well and I hope to continue flying there in the future.
Yess same feeling. I'm French and is fine to land in Paris. But I live since 2002 in Colombia, I got married and made my life here and land in Colombia is the happiest feeling that I could have
It seemed to be a decent flight. It looked like there were empty overhead bins for your bag so you could have more legroom. The dinner wasn't gourmet, but probably tasted good enough.
Yup it was a great flight indeed! I already had my carry on in the overhead so I tried to follow the rules and keep my personal item under the seat. I guess if there’s space however it probably didn’t matter. The food was indeed surprisingly good but then again i’m not that picky.
Great video, did they offer you wine or champagne? I’ve seen other people with it in economy seating. Also how was the airport once you landed I have a layover so I’m hoping it’s not long to get through customs
Hi! Thanks for the kind words. To answer your question, they offered champagne to everyone in the business class cabin prior to our meals. They also had wine choices offered with dinner but that was the passengers decision. Regarding customs, I was actually transiting through Paris and it was fairly quick at about 10 minutes to clear passport control over to Terminal 2F. On previous flights to Paris, it took around 30-45 mins from start to finish (passport control, baggage claim, customs, etc). In my experience CDG isn't as bad as everyone says it is but I don't know if i'm just the minority opinion there. If you are flying business class you'll be out of the plane quicker and ultimately that helps with the long queues.
Hi Michael! In this case the aircraft is on the ground for around 2 hours. I think in this case the flight landed around 5pm and we departed at 7:30pm. In this case, lounge access was free for me since I'm a platinum medallion member with Delta. Basically, being a Gold, Platinum, or Diamond member means you get Sky priority access with Air France and KLM and that typically translates to special queues at the airport, free checked bags, and lounge access. Typically though, without this Sky priority access, economy tickets don't have access to the lounge.

With Air France’s announcement to Newark, the airline will offer 18 destinations in North America. Flights to Newark will begin on December 12 2022.

Flying to JFK in a month's time with Air France. Praying I'll enjoy the premium economy with my toddler 😅

How long was the aircraft on the ground? Pretty quick turnaround.

Haha that's actually my Fossil watch! I was able to get it at the outlets for $50 so it was a great deal.
